I had a daydream
A thought
Of what if the air became acidic
And rain did too
And I just imagined myself watching the outside
The ground steaming with hydrogen mist
The sky a bleary gray
The acid dripping onto the window glass
And my only thought was that it was beautiful
Never have I felt that the decimation of all life would be beautiful
The end would be just as beautiful as the beginning
There would finally be nothing to worry about, as nothing would be left at all
And I felt as if I were sharing it with someone I deeply loved
In this apocalyptic future
