"Scribe, get me the book of genetic engineering, please?", she said, while she was concentrated on writing into her notebook. The scribe, also known as Al Haitham, stood up from his place to get the desired book. When he returned, he set the book aside to the brown haired girl. Immediately, he sat down across the table to do his own work again.

Well, the brown haired girl, whose name is Floridiya, is doing research, and she asked the scribe, Al Haitham, to help her. They're doing research on the topic of genetic engineering, since Floridiya recently had the ultimate idea to clone and edit the genetics of Fungi. This way, people could use them as pets, and they could make a lot of money. They would also make history, and make the higher ranks of the academia proud.

"Say, Scribe, do you think it's easy? I mean, theoretically it would work, right?", she said, raising her head to look at Alhaitham. "Theoretically it should work, if it's easy? I don't know, we have to find out", he replied, also looking up at her.

And when he did, he mustered her features. Pink eyes with long lashes, the ends of her eyes had a faint red touch, not makeup, nor did she cry, she always looked like this. Her brown hair framing her face while the rest was tied back into a loose ponytail. Her cheeks featured some freckles and her ears were sharp like an elf. She wore her standard, crop top and skirt combo, which was mostly white but faded into a light pink at the bottom. Light pink arm warmers and some cherry earrings completed her outfit, along with an eyebrow piercing on the right.

"Yeah... You're right.", she began, before she looked around the library. "You know, when I was Zandiks friend back when we were still scholars, he explained a lot about this stuff to me, seems like he was really engaged into genetic engineering. I heard rumors that he even cloned himself a few times, that's crazy", "isn't it?", he replied, smiling. "What else did you find out about it? Like, what's the procedure for example or what equipment do we need to use", he asked her.

"Okay, so, it's actually easier than it seems. You just need to get DNA from a Fungi, like blood or a spore, from that you will only work in the lab. You play with the genetics as exactly described in my notes, and then you scientifically grow a fungus with, hopefully, a friendly demeanor, and then you make it reproduce. To fasten the process, you repeat it a few times, maybe even adjust the DNA to get different Personalities and features. And boom, people will want to have some for themselves. We can also try and teach the fungi tricks.", Floridiya spoke like she had already done it.

"Ah, yes, easier than it seems", he said, moving his finger mocking her sentence. "You know that I cannot help you in the lab, right? I'm not good with medical stuff", She nodded, lowering her head, "I know, I know, I still need to find someone who could help me. Maybe I'll ask Tighnari", She paused before she looked up at Haitham again." Hey, did you find anything?", He passed her his note. His handwriting was pretty, and very readable, unlike hers.

She read through it before passing it back to him, nodding her head. "Let me treat you, we'll go into a restaurant, for your hard work", he shook his head while she put the sheets and books into her bag "You don't have to-" Floridiya was too fast tho, she had already stood up, grabbing his arm and dragging him along.

She entered the restaurant, greeted by the smell of delicious food. Floridiya had convinced Al Haitham that she would pay. She went to sit down at a table near the back, he sat down across her. "You don't have to get the cheapest stuff, you know", he nodded, a waiter approached them. "What can I get you two?", the waiter smiled as he switched looks between both of us.

"I want a Potato Boat and a water", she said as the waiter wrote it down. "Me too", the waiter nodded and wrote it down before he went away.
There was a comfortable silence between us before he spoke. "I really hope that this genetic engineering thing works, you've been sitting on it with different people for a few weeks now. I wish you only the best", He said, leaning his head on his hand and looking out of the window. "Thank You, I hope it works too."

The waiter approached us with the food and set it down on the table. "Eat well", he said. Both Al Haitham and I replied with a "Thank you.", then the waiter left. 

When we both finished, I paid and we went outside. "The food was fantastic, I'm so full", he nodded in agreement, as he followed me to my home. While we were walking, we talked about a few different things. "Alhaitham?", he hummed, "Do you want to come inside? Or are you going to go to your own home", I said as I took my keys out. "Well, if it's no problem for you, I would like to stay at your house for a while. My roommate is home and he's annoying. ", I nodded. "That's okay, come in", I said after I opened the door. I went in after him and took off my coat and shoes, he did the same.

"You have never been to my house, right?", I turned around to face him. "Yes, it's gorgeous.", I laughed and went into the living room to sit on the couch, he did the same. "Are we alone?", I crossed my legs and looked at him, "Yes, we should be", He chuckled deeply which sent shivers down my spine. He came a little closer and put his hand around my shoulder. "What are you doing?", Our faces were just a few centimeters away, as he closed the distance completely. My cheeks reddened when he backed up a little and grabbed my waist gently. "Floridiya", he breathed, "You make me go crazy". He went under my skirt with his hand and caressed my thigh as he went for another kiss.
