Emma's POV
School was the longest thing ever. Without Niall here having to suffer with me and help me get through the day, I was alone. He was the only person I saw at school. Now I felt like an outcast. A loser.
The final class went by fast as we watched a movie and I slept. The bell rang, sending me shooting up from my seat and running out of the class. My body wanted me to stop under the cherry tree I went to every day, but there was no point in waiting today. I walked down the stairs just about to walk past it as something caught my eye. A note stuck to the trunk of the tree. There was writing on it, as I squinted my eyes I could make out the word Emma. I walked over to the tree, unsure of who wrote me a note and knew how I stood here every day after school.
I approached the tree, heart beat increasing. I grabbed the note and held it in my hands.
Emma
Cute, funny, kind, sweet
Sibling of herself.
Lover of me
who fears the dark
who needs love
who gives kindness
who would like to see you smile
resident of my heart.
My heart fluttered as I read each word. I only knew one person who wrote this. Niall.

My car sped down the road as my palms became sweaty. I wasn't even sure that Niall was home sick anymore, but why would he have lied to me? My thoughts overcame me.
The car turned into my neighborhood, that's when I heard a little tinging on the floor. I glanced down to see a little bracelet gliding across the floor of the car. I've never seen it before in my life. It looked brand new. I looked back up at the road, making sure I didn't miss my house. It was the next driveway so after I pulled in and parked, I turned the car off and reached down to get the bracelet.
I picked it up, delicately as it looked valuable. The silver beads on it shined in the sunlight that gleamed through the car window. It shimmered almost. Each bead was different. Some were hearts, some were animals, it was cute. One bead was an angel which I smiled at.
Niall had done all of this. It had to be him.
I quickly put the bracelet on, smiling before I opened my car door and ran up to my front door. I unlocked it quickly and burst through the door. There standing before me was the blue eyes boy. I froze as I realized he was holding a bouquet of red roses. He stood there, nervously, other hand in his pocket.
The door gently closed behind me as I took a step closer to him. "Hi" I whispered
"Hi" he replied blushing. He then took a deep breathe. "Emma, I really have enjoyed getting to know you in the past couple of weeks. You really make me f-feel safe. You are like an angel. My angel."
His words hit me hard. He took a step closer. "W-would you-" He choked up a bit, and sighed again "Would you like to go to homecoming with me?"
We were now inches apart. I could feel his eyes burning into my soul. I could definitely tell he was more than nervous. I moved my hand up from my side, and toward his chest. He was confused as I placed my hand on his heart. I felt his heartbeat. It was fast, irregular.
I looked up, hand still on his heart. He looked nervously down at me "Of course I will" I replied. His heart slowed down a bit, but once quickened when I hovered my lips over his, breath seeping over his mouth.
Suddenly he crushed his lips on top of mine, and kissed me long and hard. He wasn't too shy anymore about that. He took his hand that was in his pocket and moved it to my waist, holding a tight grip on it. I took my free hand, and clawed it through his hair.
My fingers grabbed a gathering of his hair, he softly moaned. I smiled through the kiss and he rubbed my waist, sending sparks throughout my whole body. His tongue slowly entered my mouth, he liked to be in control when he could. He tasted good, his breath filling my mouth.
"Ahem" I heard faintly. We both froze and pulled away. I looked at him, wide eyed before I saw someone behind him.
"MOM?" I shouted looking over his shoulder.
She had tears in her eyes. She strutted her way over to me, arms out. I restricted her. She was disappointed "Give me a h-hug" She whined.
"Not until you tell me what the hell went on last week!"
Niall was suddenly at my side, slightly behind me. I knew he didn't like yelling so I tried to tone it down.
My mother sighed as my father met her and put his arm around her waist. His hair looked more grey than it had last time I saw him. It had been a couple weeks. She sniffed and opened her mouth "I just-it's hard to see you grow up. I d-don't want my baby girl to leave. When I saw you with-the boy, It hit me that you wouldn't be here much longer. I had to get away. I couldn't believe that you were almost a-an adult."
My mother cringed as she spoke the last words. I realized that Niall hand intertwined our fingers, as I had been crying. "Why. Did. You. Leave. That doesn't even make any sense!" I said raising my voice again.
My mother looked at my father again before turning to me. "That's not entirely the reason we left..."
I rolled my eyes. "Oh really? Then what's going on." I said. My voice very stern. Niall's grip on me tightening as he knew I was about to lunge at her.
This time it was my father who began to speak "You're going to have a baby brother."
