Flowers

I took Jade to the flower shop today .

It reminded me of you and our first flower shop visit . Aurora's . She was a nice woman . It was a friday evening . We had just completed our assignments and we were bored . So you said that you had an idea . The thing about you was that you always had something up your sleeve , sometimes it was crazy but fun altogther .

We went to your garage , got Jared's car and you just started driving . I thought your idea was to drive arount town aimlessly but no, when we arrived at the outskirts of town you stopped . We got out and you started pulling me towards the small shop at the end of the street . It was about 9 so I dont even know how that shop was open . We went inside and what I saw inside was pinterest worthy. And then I saw it , my favourite shades of my favourite flower . Hydrangea . I couldn't beleive it .

They didnt grow here . Apparently your smartass had already ordered these a week ago and were waiting for the right time to take me here . You started fussing about how this was not the perfect moment and that you could've done better . But it was perfect . Cause you were perfect . And seeing my favourite flowers was enough to make my boredom go away . Aurora , the woman offered us orange juice . She said that she kept it for her grandkids but they couldnt visit much , so we could drink some.Hearing that made me so sad and I gave her a big bear  hug . We got the flowers and you started driving again . I thought we were going back but I guess not .

You said we had one last stop before dinner . It was the library . And when I say they were hardcovers you should know that I had fallen in love with this man . Boy . Man . Whatever you think fits better .Even though I still had 5 more books on my TBR . We got more , cause everytime you go to the bookstore , you have to buy something . Thats the rule , right ? And then you got your well deserved kiss .

It was time for the last stop. Dinner . Which happened to be a Papa Jhon's . We didnt even stay , got our pepparoni pizza and out of there cause my mother said that I had to be back by 11 . You were driving and I was feeding you . After we were finished eating , you said something . Something I have never forgotten .

“Your'e like a Taylor Swift song .”
“Really Mr. Collin ?”
“Really”
“How so?
“I can't get enough of you .”
“Well that's realy cheesy .”
“I know , that sounded much better in my head .”
“No , your'e wrong . That sounded much better out of your mouth .”
“ Now who's being cheesy , Ms.Blackwood ?”

That night , when we returned home , I saw my mom smiling from the kitchen , looking at us .
The next day when I asked her about it , she said that it reminded her of her highschool boyfriend , who by the way was not dad so .

But Josh as you know , in the end , it's going to be
Just you and me
Just Josh and Judith .
