The Long Lost Twins

Chapter 1

Ashleys POV

Hi, I'm Ashley, I'm 15 years old, and I, unfortunately, have social anxiety. Tomorrow is my first day on real school, because I've been home schooled all my life, since my mom thought I might get upset going to a real one, but today, she changed her mind and signed me up for a real school, which they gladly accepted me in, surprisingly, but the principal knows about my social anxiety.

The next day

Well, today's my first day,  I'm really nervous, what will people think of me, will i get bullied, stop Ashley! Get a hold of yourself! I get up from bed get dressed into leggings and a black flannel and get downstairs to eat breakfast

"Hi hun! How are you feeling?" My mom said

"Nervous" I answered

"Oh come on, don't worry, everything will be fine"

"It's my first day mom! How do you expect me to feel!?"

"Hunny you be fine, don't you worry, well, you better get going! Love you!"

"love you too!"

I got upstairs, brushed my teeth, grabbed my bag and ran out of the front door, the walk to school was relaxing, then i arrived infront of a big building, woah, when I mean big, it was big!

I got into school and kept my head down, I went to the principal's office and he asked me

"Hi there! You must be Ashley!"

I nodded

"well, here's your key for your locker and your time table, oh and, this is Ronald, he'll give you a tour, have a nice day"

A boy approached me and we started walking out of the office

"Hi, I'm Ronald, but you probably already knew that haha, whats your name?" Ronald asked looking at me

I just kept my head down and didn't answer

"Are you ok? Ohhhh, you're Ashley, right, the principal told me you had social anxiety" he whispered for only me to hear because he probably thinks I don't want everybody to know and he's right.

The rest of the tour was silent, but then he brought me to my first class, history, which he was also in, we sat down next to each other and after the lesson he brought me to see his friends for lunch, we sat together snd he introduced me to them

"So, Ashley this is Brandon, Mason, Adam, Nick and Archie" he said pointing to each of them one by one

"Boys, this is Ashley"

 "Hi Ashley!" Brandon said

"Hi!" Nick said

"Bonjour!" Adam said

"Hello!" Mason said

"Hey Ashley" Archie said

I just kept my head down and started eating my lunch

"wow, Ashley looks a lot like Archie, and their names rhyme!" Brandon said with a confused tone

"Yeah I agree" Nick said

"Why is she not talking?" Mason unfortunately brought up

"Yeah, is she mute or something?" Adam said, it made my eyes fill up with water, I got up and ran to the bathroom, I locked myself in one of the stalls farthest from the door and slid down on my knees, I brought them up to my chest and buried my face in them, I didn't know a few words could hurt someone like that.

I then heard the door open

"Ashley? Are you in here?" I heard Ronald say,

"Come on, I know your there!"
