What happens after Ashley and Archey meet 14 years after being separated?

I did what I was told and called Archie when he picked up he asked what happened
"Ashley? What happened!"
"Everything is fine, don't worry, I called to ask if you could come to dinner with your family tonight?"
"Oh yeah! Sure, it would just be my mom and I tho"
"Ok! That's fine! Well, cya"
"Kk, bye"
I hung up and told my mom they were coming, she told me to wear something nice to be presentable so I went up to my room and searched for a dress in my closet, I found a long pink one but I'd most certainly trip over it, the I found a green one but it was really short, then I found the perfect one!

It was gorgeous! I put that one on and went downstairs to help my mom set the table and cook and waited for Archie and his mom to arrive.
Archie POV
I heard my phone buzz and turned I on to see what it was, I was Ashley calling me, I thought something was wrong so I answered and straight away said
"Ashley? What happened!"
"Everything is fine, don't worry, I called to ask if you could come to dinner with your family tonight?"
"Oh yeah! Sure, it would just be my mom and I tho"
"Ok! That's fine! Well, cya"
"Kk, bye"
I turned my phone off and headed downstairs to tell my mom
"Hey mom, my friend invited us for dinner at her place, you know, Ashley?"
"Oh yes, I know Ashley, she seems so sweet, well that's great, go get ready, you must be presentable! I will wear a dress, so maybe wear a suit or something" she said shooing me away.
I ran upstairs to my room and found a suit I wore last year at my aunts wedding, hopefully it still fits!

Good, it fits! I feel cool now for some reason. I scrolled down tiktok waiting for my mom to call me downstairs to leave for Ash's (Ashleys nickname) house, but I recieved another call from Ashley
"Hi Ash, what's up?"
"Hi Arch, could you come to my house at around 7pm?"
"Yeah sure! I'll tell my mom"
"K, great, cya later"
"Yup , cya, bye"
I hung up and told my mom we should leave in 15 minutes because it was 6:43 so we could be there on time. 15 minutes later we left and arrive 10 minutes later, we knocked on the door and a woman who I assumed must be Ashleys mom opened the door.
"Hi! Come in, come in!" She said smiling gesturing towards the interior of the house.
