"Love," Jeongguk uttered in a windy tone, which didn't go unnoticed by Taehyung, something was causing him to be nervous. They were lounging on their bed, cuddled together, with all the intimacy that the post-sex haze brings.
"Yes, baby love?" said Taehyung turning around to look into Jeongguk's eyes, to cup his cheeks, to engulf him in his scent and embrace.
"I want an heir," and Taehyung's eyes widened because he's always wanted to
raise a child, give them all the affection that he had never received, Oh how he had longed for it. But-
"Jeongguk, are you sure? It's a really big responsibility, we can't just-" And
Taehyung was a blabbering mess.
"Yes, I have. I know you love children and have always wanted one. So I thought about it. It will be beneficial for the Jeon house too. We'll finally have an heir once he grows up-"
"You can't put such a responsibility on a child's shoulders," Taehyung interrupted, not liking the idea of pressuring a child.
" And we won't love. We'll let them choose if they want to turn and let them decide if
they want to be the next Representative of House Jeon," Jeongguk said offering reassurance.
"And if they reject, well, we'll adopt another. And in no way we will be replacing them,
they'll be known as our eldest and so forth. And rather than me making them into a direct fledgling, I would ask you to make them vampires if they choose to be one.
Let's raise a family love, let's become a family,"
"Yeah, let us," Taehyung cried, hugging Jeongguk. He couldn't possibly want
anything more.

They adopted a boy and then a girl five years later. The boy was named Iseul and the girl, Soah.
Soah was too attached to Taehyung while Iseul was to Jeongguk. Both were equally stubborn but they knew how to get along. He couldn't possibly want anything more, except some peace of mind. Children tend to suck that out of you,
"They are no less vampires than we are," Jeongguk mumbles sometimes and
Taehyung couldn't agree more.

Fast forward to years later, Iseul was announced to be the representative of the house on his 24th birthday. Soah too chose to be a direct fledgling, wanting to help her brother.
They worked well together, keeping the administration of the house under wraps, like puppeteers. There was no one better at politics than Jeongguk, that's why it had taken much toll on him. Both of them learned from their Father, one taught them political excellence while their other father taught them the art expressions.
They became a force to be reckoned with no one was prouder than their Parents.
