Now that the truth was out for the world to know Jeongguk deemed that it was time that he formally introduced Taehyung as his mate and a direct fledgling to the vampire society.
He brings up the topic when Taehyung visits him at his office.
It has become a common sight for Jeongguk's employees to see the model nonchalantly enter the office building and head towards the CEO's office.
It was a disaster at first, with all of them being distracted with gossiping about the couple but it died down as the days went by. They were 'asked' to rather concentrate on their work in an email from the CEO's secretary desk.
Taehyung smiled at him, resting his face on his hand that was propped on the table. He looked at Jeongguk like that, happiness simmering in him as he answered Jeongguk's question.
"Yes! and god why do you have to be so cute about it," he began to gush as he walked over to Jeongguk to sit on his lap.
"I thought you wanted me to keep my hands to myself this afternoon," Jeongguk said with a smirk rising into a smile, as his hands reached for Taehyung's waist.
"That's because I have an event to attend after this and I don't want to look fucked out in front of my fans- they'll tease me about it," he reasoned with a pout as his hands pushed a strand of Jeongguk's raven locks away form his eyes.
Jeongguk adjusted his legs to allow taehyung to sit comfortably on his lap, "yeah me too," He replied, " I don't want anyone else seeing what you look like after you've been wrecked," he nosed Taehyung's neck,
"that ethereal sight is only reserved for me now, love,"
"mhm," Taehyung agrees then, "won't you drink?" he asks, beckons breathlessly, and the original complies planting kisses on his mate's neck.
And Taehyung ended up gaining a glow anyway.
Taehyung distracted him a lot, Jeongguk concluded, resting his head back on the lounge chair in his office.
The best way to formally introduce him would be a ball, it's going to be a headache with everything that goes into it. He used to hold them out of courtesy and as a court duty but never willingly, it's been hundreds of years since he organized one.
He thoughtit'd be best to get Hoseok onboard on this since Taehyung was his direct fledgling. He wanted to hold a party worthy to be named after his mate, he'll take care of every detail.
The rest he'll have Byung chul carry out for him, after all he's watched the oldman organise the best balls back in their day.

An unexpected incident occured after the invites for the ball were sent out.
Taehyung and him had already moved in together, taking residence in Jeongguk's high rise penthouse.
It begins when Byung chul allows someone to enter their space. Taehyung notices the unfamiliar scent before he eventually meets the owner of the repelling scent. It irks Taehyung to no extent. It smelled like 'hurt' to him. Jeongguk's hurt specifically.
There was a knock at the door of their bedroom, where Taehyung was lying on the lounge sofa, reading a book.
" Someone from the royal court is here to see you, and they're waiting in the living room. Would sir Kim want to meet them?" Byung chul waited for Taehyung's response.
This was certainly unusual, someone from the court was here to meet him and not Jeongguk.
"Sure," Taehyung answered contemplating what the reason could be, "tell them I'll be down soon,"
Wary, he sent a text to Jeongguk about it, and then proceeded to change out of the pajams he was wearing and into a more suitable attire.
Keeping up appearances has always been a part of the vampire society. One of the reasons why he avoided it.
Soon, however, he was going to have to jump into it. He was glad it would only be for a certain period of time, his mate seemed to dislike the life of formalities as much as he does.
Coming down into the living room Taehyung saw a man not taller than him standing in front of a bookshelf, flipping through pages.
"Oh, you are here," he says, smiling while keeping the book back in.
"Nice to meet you, please have a seat" Taehyung smiles, walking to sit on the chair.
"Hello to you too Kim Taehyung-ssi," he says sitting on the sofa next to the chair,
" I am Jeon Suwon, the only direct fledgling of Jeon Jeongguk, and representative of house Jeon in the royal court.
Also known as Jeon Jeongguk's former mate ."
