Hitoshi shifted the weight in her feet and was tippy taps her toes at the doorstep, waiting for an answer. She was standing amist the gloomy weather downpouring in the night, taking shelter only under Houdzuki's rain gutter.

Her excitement uncontained, she was urged to reach for the doorbell one more time. These hands of hesitation.

The door in front of her finally clicked open, and Houdzuki appeared in the crack.

"Oh, dear, I thought you couldn't make it. Working night shift tonight."

"Right! Kenshirou said he got it all covered."

"Oh.. My apologies I would have answered the door much sooner Hitoshi."

Houdzuki pulled the door and backed away to greet Hitoshi into his home.

"It totally fine! I was going to text you that I could make it but I was in such a rush to get here!"
It was true, he was slightly out of breath.

Hitoshi was hit with a dose of serenity stepping inside Houdzuki's home. His walls were freshly painted an Indian White, a sage accented trim lines the corners and rounded out the rough. Candles have been newly extinguished, pine wood and cranberry bushles.

Houdzuki reached his arms out to Hitoshi's.
"I'll take your bag and meet you downstairs." He smiled, lifting the weight of the bag from Hitoshi's shoulders and shuffling away to place it somewhere safe.

Hitoshi galloped down the steps to be met by Seitarou, who was on his knees jamming a screwdriver into the leg of a drumset. He had his face close to the screw focusing on his work.

"Hey Houdzuki, I think I've just about finished—" He paused when he peered up to be startled by Hitoshis presence.

"Hitoshi!" Seitarou got all starry-eyed. How cute.
"I think I just about finished building your drumset!" He said, patting on a drum."

"Wow! It's so beautiful!" She exclaimed, running over to test them out, nearly missing the stool.

"Took me a bit to finish but luckily I had it all ready tonight."

"Thank you thank you thank you! It's so perfect Sei!"

Sei chuckled a little. "I'm so glad. Hey, when Houdzuki gets down here we can our first rehearsal cracking."

"Great! I finished that sheet music by the way! Almost left it in the break room."

Hitoshi handed over the papers to Sei.

"You write on break?"

"Mhm!"

"Wow, these note sequences are incredible!"

"Thanks! Kenshirou wasn't much of a help."

"I figure."

A clopping came from atop the steps, Hitoshi and Seitarou followed the figure with their eyes to the bottom of the stairs.

Houdzuki, with a hot red electric guitar in his hands, the aux cord dangling.

"No more stalling, let's get it."
