Chapter 08

Shawn's Pov

I woke up and found myself on the floor with a bottle of Hennesey and Vodka next to me with the locket on the floor by my unlocked phone with a picture of Tiyanna and Miraj. I mustve been drinking.

I felt something creep up my throat and i ran to the garbage in the kitchen and threw up. "Damn"i mumbled. I mustve been drinking alot.

I know what i did was wrong but i ain't have no choice. I don't know what happened between Tiyanna and Samuel. They couldve been playing on getting back together.

I went upstairs to my room and opened the door to see a empty room. I ran my hands down my face and thought of Tiyanna.

I walked towards the bathroom and found it empty too. I brushed my teeth and took a shower. When i got out i walked into the closet and found it empty.

I flipped my dreads back and had on a white and red Mk shirt with camo joggers and red and white Adidas.

I threw on my gold chain and my gold Mk watch. Sprayed some cologne and sat downstairs. I tried calling Tiyanna but it went straight to voicemail.

I turned on the tv and the news was on. I shook my head at what was on the news. It was a man found unconscious. "That look like Samuel".i said to myself . I aint eat no breakfast cause i lost my appetite.

I looked down at my phone to see an unknown number calling me.

Me:Hello
Person:Hello Shawn
Me:Tf is this?
Person:Kimmy
Me:Why you calling me?
Kimmy:Because Samuel didn't come home lastnight and im worried. Me and Him had planned on going to see Nedric at the hospital
Me: Ain't i just seen a niqqa on the news that looked like him on the news unconscious
Kimmy:Really! You didnt ask about Nedric doe
Me:Mane get the fuck out my phone about yo kids i could care less about what happened to them
Kimmy: You gone regret saying that
Me:Fuck you!

I hung up the phone and slammed it on the couch. I got up and left the house.

Kimmy's Pov

I drove to my friend's house to get Cedric who spent the night at a sleep over. We drove to the hospital and he was sleep the whole ride.

I parked in the parking lot of the hospital. I got out and held Cedric who was sleep. I walked up to the counter and waited to get help.

"Can i help you?" a lady asked me. "Yes,im looking for Samuel Robinson". "Umm he's on the 4th floor".

I went to the elevator and waited for it to open. When it opened i saw Nedric in a wheel chair. "Mommy!" he squealed.

He woke up Cedric and i put him down. "Hey Baby, how you been?". "Good, i just seen Daddy". "Where?". "Up there". I looked up at the nurse asking if she could take me there.

She nodded her head and pressed the button to close the elevator door. "Wassup bro" Cedric said to Nedric giving him some dap. "Nothing i missed you". "I missed you too, you need to get your dreads retwisted".

"I know man im waiting to go home so Ma could hook me up so i can get back to my fly ishh" Nedric said. "Thats wassup".

The elevator door opened and we followed the nurse to Samuel's room. When we got there we found a lawyer there talking to him.

"Daddy!" Cedric shouted. "Daddy?" he asked looking confused. "Daddy its Cedric, your son". "Son?, i dont have a son". I looked at the nurse with my eyes glowing. "He has imaniga, he'll get his memory back though all he need is to see someone that he really loves".

Thats me i thought to myself. I walked over to his bedside. I held onto his hand and he pulled away. "Why are you touching me?".

"Samuel its me, Kimmy". "Where's Tiyanna?" he asked looking directly at me. "How do you remember her!?"i asked in a high pitched voice.

"Ahh! Ahh!" Samuel yelled holding onto his ears. "Please get out, he cant hear loud noises" the nurse said pushing me towards the door.

"I need to talk to his Baby Mother" the lawyer said fixing his glasses. Cedric ran out the room and Nedric waited patiently for the nurse to roll him out the room.

Me and the Lawyer started talking and walking down the hall. Cedric went with Nedric and the Nurse.

"So you are Kimmaliyah?" the lawyer asked. "Yes, but call me Kimmy". "Okay, so in the case of Samuel Robinson it looks like he fell off a car and hit his head on a rock..".

"When was this?" i interrupted. "Lastnight by...". "I know who it was, can we file a lawsuit, press charges, and get the person behind bars?".

"Im sorry ma'am but it doesnt work like that...". "Look i'll give you 3k if you get the girl locked up". "Is this a brive?"."Call it what you want, im just tryna give you a lil cash and make things much easier on you".

The man looked me up and down and licked his lips. "How about you let me smash for 3k?"he questioned. He wasnt too bad for a lawyer. He was brownskin with a low cut and wavy hair. You could say he was about 6'1, body like a football player and full lips.

I seized him up and down and flipped my hair back. "What i look like to you?" i asked. He laughed lightly and put his hands in his pockets.

"You tryna make this work or nah?" he asked. I stayed silent and stared at him. "Here's my card, when you make up your mind give me a call or something". I took the card from his hand and slipped it in my back pocket.

He walked towards me and nibbled on my neck a little and grabbed onto my ass. I pulled away and he walked off grinning.

I took the elevator to get to Nedric's room. I sat by his bed and started thinking. The boys were having a conversation that i didnt pay no attention to.

I looked down at the card he gave me and scanned for his number. I typed it up into my phone and hesitated to call. I texted him instead saying: Im down

Tiyanna's Pov

I heard a loud knock on the door. Me and Trey woke up and i walked towards the door. I looked through the peep hole and saw nobody.

"Dont open the door yet" Trey commanded. I nodded and waited on him to come out his room. He came out the with a gun in his hand. He cocked it back loaded it.

"Open it". I opened the door and was knocked down to the ground. "Everything you say can and will be used against you in court". I struggled on the ground.

Miraj got up running on top of a police. The police swung him acroos the room causing him to hit his head on the wall. "Bitch get the fuck off me!Stop hitting my child or i'll bust a cap in yall shit!" i shouted.

Trey cocked his gun back and shot the police that hit Miraj. The other cop came and dragged me out the house.

"TREY!" I shouted. "YALLL BETTER HER GO OR IMA KILL SOMEBODY!". The whole neighborhood stood outside watching.

Trey started shooting every single cop. "Trey take care of Miraj!" i shouted while the cop pushed my head into car.

The cop ran into his car and drove off. Trey kept shooting at the cop car and gave up.

My face was busted. Blood leaked down my face into my lap. I shouted and banged on the window. "Let me out niqqa! You a fuck boy! FUCK 12!" I shouted. My face was red and my eyes were big. All you could see in them were rage and different person.

The cop mustve heard me cause he opened his window and the last thing i remembered was a gunshot...
