Chapter 04

Kimmy's Pov

"Where did all that blood come from?!"i asked. " Nedric is bleeding alot out of his mouth and somebody with red hair came through the window and shot him".

"Red hair?". I ran up to their room and found Nedric layed out on the floor. "Ahh!"i shouted. I looked up to see the window open.

I picked him up and brought him to the car. "Cedric get in your car seat". He did as told and buckled himself up. I took my phone and keys and sped off to the hospital.

"I need help! My son got shot!" i shouted holding Nedric in my arm with Cedric behind me. "Okay, you need to do some paper work first" said the lady sitting at the front desk.

"Stick them papers up your ass! My son dying and you telling me to do paper work? Fuck you!" i shouted.

The doctor came in and asked what was going on. "I need help my son got shot!". He took him from my hand and layed him on a bed.

"I need a couple helpers" the doctor said. Immediately 5 nurses came hooking Nedric up in pumps and tubes. They rushed down the hall with him and Cedric grabbed me hand.

"Wait here for a little" the lady at the desk said. I gave her a stank look and walked to the waiting room.

"Mommy i still didn't wash my hands " Cedric said. I walked to the bathroom and soaped up his hands so all the blood could come off.

We went back to the waiting room and waited patiently. Red hair, Red hair, Red hair. Who has red hair. I was thinking to myself.

"Mommy call Daddy". I pulled out my phone and called Samuel...Nobody picked up.

I called again still no answer. I texted him and told him Nedric got shot.

Cedric layed on me and fell asleep. I played in his dreads and waited impatiently. The ringtone on my phone went off and i looked at who was calling.

"Turn your phone off " said the lady at the desk. "Shut the fuck up" i replied.

~Phone Convo~

Me: Hello

Samuel:Wassup

Me:At the hospital

Samuel: Why?

Me:You aint see my message?

Samuel:Nahh

Me:Nedric got shot

Samuel:..........

Me:Hello, Helllooo

Samuel:.....

Me:Are you there?

"Im here " Samuel said standing in front of me. "Is this Nedric's family?" the doctor asked.

"Yes". "It looks like he got shot in the back and we did all we can ti get the bullet out and it did but he still hasnt woke up yet"he explained.

"Can we see him?"Samuel asked. "Yes". Samuel picked up Cedric from my lap and carried him. I tried holding his hand but he kept on pushing me away.

The doctor led us to the room where Nedric layed and left. Samuel sat Cedric on the chair and stood over Nedric. I snuck up behind him and tried to hold his arm.

"Get the fuck off me!"he shouted pushing me away. "Why are you acting like this? ". "Because i don't want you anymore Kimmy how obvious does it have to be? ".

"I didn't even do anything to you, since the night at the Carnival you been acting different". "I noticed that you not the one for me, when i see Tiyanna my heart skips a beat. When i see you... ".

"She doesnt even want you! She didnt have two babies for you i did!". "You dont fucking know that! I love Tiyanna!". "Ughhh!".

I stormed out and went to a nearby public restroom. I went into a stall and on the toilet and cried my ass off. My makeup was running and my voice was fading.

I saw somebody through the crack in the door. The person had red hair and looked very familiar.

I walked out the stall and stared at the girl. She quickly turned away and tried to walk off. I seen she had blood on the back of her clothes.

I ran up on her and grabbed her by her hair. "You bitch! You shot my son for no fucking reason!" i shouted beating on her. "Get the fuck off me Kimmy, i had every reason in the world to do what i did".

Lanisha...

I threw her against the stall and she pushed me towards the sink. I hit my back on the edge of it. I punched her in the throat which sent her to the ground.

She grabbed on my foot and dragged me down. All the nose that was going on caused people to start walking in. I got off the floor and limped back quickly to Nedric's room.

All bruised up i busted into the room to find Nedric awake.

Tiyanna's Pov

At the mall we walked around looking at stuff and buying stuff. “Bae look at these shoes!” i squealed to Shawn.

“Damn they clean asf” he replied. “You guys should get a matching pair” a man said. “Umm havent we met before?” I asked.

“Yeah, at the carnival”. “Oh this is weird” Shawn said softly. “Not really we live in a small city, but anyways have a nice day”.

The man walked away and we walked into the store. “Can we get a size 7, 10, and 2 in these shoes?”i asked the cashier. “Yeah Sure” he replied.

I looked up from my phone and looked at the man. Shawn and Miraj had then went to the side of the store looking at more shoes.

“Youre Beautiful you know”he said softly. “What did you say?” i asked. “I said youre beautiful, thats all”. “Oh thank you”.

“Whats your name?”. “Tiyanna, yours?”. “Trey”. “Nice to meet you” i said softly.  “Its a pleasure”. “Shouldnt you be getting me my shoes?”.

“Oh yeah!”. He ran to the back and came back a couple minutes later with 3 boxes in his hand. “You, and your little sisters?”he asked. “Nahh, for me, my son, and my bf”.

“Awe, that's cute ” he replied slowly. “You good?” i asked. “Um yeah im straight, $235.56 is your total ”. I started looking in my wallet then changed my mind.

I got the money from Shawn's wallet and paid the cashier. While he was giving me my change back he slammed his finger in the register.

“Shit!” he shouted. “Oweee, you okay?” i asked. “All this small talk, im pretty sure we leaving now ” Shawn said.

He was holding Miraj and grabbed my hand. “Stop snatching on me Shawn” i said to him. “Bye Trey” i said waving to him. “Alright” he replied.

We got to the parking lot and Shawn put the stuff in the trunk. “What was that!” he fussed. “What was what!”. “Why you was talking to the man like that? How you already know his name? Why you already know his name?”.

“It was just small talk Shawn god lee!”. “Didnt seem like it”. “Mane whatever”.

I got in the car and waited while Shawn buckled up Miraj in his seat. He got into the passengers side and stared out the window. 

“Mommy im hungry”. “What you want baby?” i asked Miraj. “Happy Meal! Happy Meal!” he shouted.

“Okay”.

Shawn's Pov

We drove in a akward silence while Miraj snored lowly. She pulled up to McDonalds and she went to order his food.

While in the car, her phone vibrated. I looked at it then picked it up.

It was a message that read:
