Chapter 09

Shawn's Pov

I layed on the couch with tv open. The only thing on my mind was Tiyanna and Miraj. She hasnt called or texted. Maybe shes really done with me.

I know what i did was wrong, but damn it just cant end like this. I took the phone from the table and dialed up her number.

The first time i called i aint get no answer. I called a second time and it went straight to voicemail. I ran my hands down my face thinking she was ignoring me. I called again just for good luck and there was an answer

~Phone Convo~

Me:Hello?

Person:Hello

Me:Tf is this?

Person: Trey, im guessing you Shawn

Me:How you know?

Trey:Caller id said BabyDaddy

Me:So that couldve been anybody, Wheres Tiyanna? You fucking my girl?

Trey:Tighten tf up man, if that was your girl then im pretty sure she wouldnt have been sleeping at my crib

Me:Tf you talking to! I'll find out who you is and shoot yo shit up

Trey: If i was you i wouldnt do that, you more concerned about Tiyanna and Miraj or me?

Me:What happened to them

Trey:Tiyanna got arrested and im bout to bring Miraj to the hospital

Me:Why Tiyanna got arrested?Why Miraj going to the hospital?Why you know all this?

Trey:Meet me at the hospital i'll tell you what happened

Me:Ight

I got up and took my keys from the key holder and drove to the hospital. I got there in 10 mintues because traffic wasnt that crazy.

I parked the car in the parking lot and got out fixing my clothes. I slid my phone and keys in my pocket and entered the hospital.

I walked in to see Kimmy walking and talking to some tall dude. He looked like a lawyer but lawd knows. “Him” Kimmy said pointing to me.

“What about me?” i asked looking confused. “YOUR BITCH HIT SAMUEL HEAD ON A ROCK NOW HE GOT IMANIGIA AND DONT EVEN KNOW WHO HIS OWN KIDS AND BABYMOMMA IS! THE PERSON HE KEEP ASKING FOR IS TIYANNA!” She shouted all in my face.

“Watch what you call her around me!” i shouted pushing her out of my face. She hit the wall and fell to the ground. Some brownskin dude with a low cut came and held me back.

“Get the fuck off me man! That hoe disrespected my girl and you posed to be her sister! FUCK YOU!” i shouted in rage.

“Just chill, Miraj in here man” he said to me. He got off me and i fixed my shirt. I flipped my dreads back and saw the lawyer looking man helping Kimmy off the floor.

“You gone pay for this” he said to me. I looked at him in a hungry way. I charged at me and the brownskin niqqa pushed me back. Kimmy and the lawyer man ran out the hospital.

“Com'on man” he said to me. “Who you is?” i asked. “Trey”. I followed him to Miraj's room. I looked through the glass window and saw Miraj laying on a bed with his eyes closed.

My heart shattered inside my chest to see my son in this type of condition. “He dead?” i asked with a shaky voice. “Nah man, he just hasnt woke up yet but you can go in”.

I thanked him and walked into the room. I stood by his bedside and stared at him. “You not gone go see Tiyanna?” he asked. “Not yet, ima wait til he wake up”. “Okay ima come thru later”. “Ight thanks again man”. He nodded and walked out the room. I sat in a chair next to his bed and ran my hands through my face.

I placed my head on his bed and closed my eyes.

Tiyanna's Pov

The cop slapped me to wake me up in the car. I spit in his face in return. He snatched me up and i struggled to stand so i leaned against the car.

He shut the door and pulled me to start walking. I felt pain shoot through my leg. I fell to the ground and looked down to see a hole in my leg with blood falling out.

“Walk you dumb bitch”the cop said to me”. “How the fuck im posed to walk when yo humpty dumpty looking ahh shoot me!” i shouted in his face.

He dragged me inside and the blood left a trail down the gravel. He threw me behind bars and took the handcuffs. I struggled to get onto the chair.

I held my breath and took the bullet out my thigh. “Ahh” i moaned lowly. I took it out and threw it on the ground. I took the bandana off my head and wrapped it around my thigh. 5 minutes after i dozed off.

Kimmy's Pov

“Wtf was that man!” i shouted pushing Jonathan(The lawyer). He turned around quick and slapped me right in my face. “AHHH!” I shouted.

“Dont put yo hands on me no more! tf wrong with your ass? Did i tell you to go mess with that boy? You better tighten up or ima tell yo ahh out” he preached to me.

I looked up to him with fright in my eyes. “Get up” he said to me holding out his hand. I got up by myself and dusted myself off.

“What we do next?” i asked seriously. “Just go with it, they might have a trial for the whole thing by Friday”. I nodded and walked away. “Where you going?”he asked. “Home”. “You have to come give me some like our deal”.

We walked to his car and drove to his house.

Tiyanna's Pov

I woke up to the sound of the bars opening. “These nurses are here to help you, afterwards come outside because someone wants to talk to you” another cop said to me.

All the nurses came in and got right to it. They unwrapped the bandana that was trenched in blood. They examined it carefully and looked up at me. “Wheres the bullet?” one of them asked.

I looked to my right down by the wall at the bullet. She picked it up and placed it in a plastic bag. The other nurses cleaned up the wound and wrapped it up.

The other nurse came in with crutches and handed them to me. They all left and i used the crutches to walk out. When i got there i saw Trey sitting down waiting on me.

He quickly got up and helped me sit down. “Damn what happened?” he asked looking concerned. “I was being loud asf in the cop car and that hoe shot me in my thigh”.

“Tf! Man i should go shoot his ahh up”.“You already shot enough people back at the house”. “That aint nothing”. “Im scared Trey”. “Dont worry ima get you out this shit”. “Times up!” the cop shouted.

He snatched me up and didnt even give me time to adjust myself on the crutches. “Dont be grabbing her like that man!” Trey shouted. “What you gone do about it punk!?”The cop replied. “Come over here and i'll show you”. “Pshh”.

The cop dragged me back behind the bars. All my weight was on my thigh. He pushed in and locked it behind me. I sat on the bed and lifted my leg carefully on the bed.

I layed down on the pillow and tears fell out my eyes. “Mom, you didnt tell me life would be this tough. These are my regrets”.
