Freen's POVToday is my mom's birthday. Also today is going to be special. It's been a while since I haven't seen everyone since we were busy filming. I called everyone including our friends, close family and Becky's family.
I asked Becky to wear white dress as I also wearing white top and pants while the others will wear black. She asked why only the both of us are wearing white. I just make a lame excuse that we'll go to my parents grave after and that my mom always wants me to wear white.
*At the Restaurant
Becky's POV
Our family and friends are all here at the restaurant, everything is white. There's one big picture of her mom and dad at the center. But the design looks like someone's wedding. I saw P'Freen talking to that Kirk guy again. Why they seem so extra close today? I went to them quietly. I just heard that Kirk will arrange everything and that they need to talk privately.
"Why do you need to talk privately?!" I asked furiously but softly because the visitors might hear it
"Oh Becky, honey, I thought you're going to get Bonbon from Richie." P'Freen tried to change the topic.
"Answer me P'Freen." I said firmly.
"I just need to show the bouquet that Khun Freen will give later to her mom." Kirk guy said.
"I'm not talking to you." I look at him like saying shut up and stay away from us.
"Beeeck, don't be like this to Khun Kirk. Come on, let's entertain our guests." P'Freen said and we talked to her friends, more like she talked to them as I'm not in the mood right now.
I excuse myself to go to the bathroom. As soon as I went out I tried to find P'Freen but she's not with her friends anymore. I asked P'Tee but she said that she's going to follow me. So I tried to back to the bathroom maybe she's there but near the hallway going to the bathroom there's an open door and heard P'Freen. I peeked at the gap.
I saw Kirk kneeling in front of P'Freen and holding a red velvet box.
"What is the meanig of this?!" I shouted as I went closer to P'Freen. Looking so sad and her was shocked.
Freen's POV
Becky slapped me but I didn't let her walk away this time.
I held her hand and brought her to the main dining hall and at the stage. I got the attention of everybody but still Becky is struggling to my hold. She's now have tears in her eyes.
"Becky, please stop. Let me explain." I pleaded.
She stop struggling and her hands are covering her face and just sob.
"Everyone, I'm sorry if you're seeing this. Becky found me and Kirk in the middle of our rehearsal. I asked Khun Kirk on how to propose as a man. As I wanted to propose to this woman beside me. I didn't know how so asked help from him and that Becky misunderstood everything." I explained why is she crying. I saw her family with concerned eyes.
"Mr. And Mrs. Armstrong, I would like to ask your permission to marry your daughter." I asked sincerely to her parents.
I got an okay sign from them. And now Becky's turn to look at them. I took the chance to get the red velvet box with a very expensive ring inside. And kneeled in front of her.
"Rebecca Patricia Armstrong, will you marry me and be with me till death do us part?" I asked nervously.
There's so much what if running inside my head before I decided to ask her in marriage. But grandmother said that I should just follow my heart. Grandma knows about everything today, she also advised to delete all my messages to my phone.
I still haven't got an answer from Becky. I'm now starting to panic inside. Oh no, she might say no because of earlier. Is this the right time to do this? Is she going to refuse? Now I can feel I'm starting to have a hard time to breathe.
"Yes, Freen Sarocha! I would like to marry you. Only you." Becky said and on cue a tear fell in my right eye. Did I hear it right? Did she just said yes?
"Babe?" Becky held my cheeks.
"Oh, sorry." I put the ring in her ring finger and stood up.
I kissed her in front of everybody. Still my tears can't stop from dropping. I can't believe it, I'm going to marry the woman I loved and the one that I want to be with forever.
Aheeem~
I heard grandma clearing her throat as a sign for us to stop our session before in gets out of hand. We're still in front of our family and friends.
I bowed to say sorry and thank you to everybody. After the proposal we ate our lunch and after a few talks one by one our family and friends disappeared as they know that I still need to go to my parents graves. As I'm getting ready to go, Becky tugged my coat and said
"P'Freen, I need to talk to Khun Kirk."
"Oh are you sure? Okay let's go." She just nod and held my hand.
"Khun Kirk, thank you for everything. Thank you for allowing me to rent this restaurant even though you're about to close this restaurant. I sure do missed this place with my mom but you made it possible for me to remember and make another good memory here. And I think someone wants to talk to you." I said to Khun Kirk and hand shake him with my free hand.
"Khun Kirk, I'm sorry for being rude to you. I should listen to your explanation first. Jealousy got me first so I would like to apologized about earlier and to what I said that you can't be trusted. I'm sincerely sorry." Becky said also hand shaked him.
"All good for the two of you. I wish you goodluck and congratulations on your marriage. We can also accommodate your reception if you wanted. We are always welcome specially for Sarocha Family. My mom would be happy is she knew you've made your proposal here in her restaurant." He said.
"I'm sure my mom and your mom watched everything from above." I said and bid farewell.
At the car, we are now on our way to my parents graves. I saw Becky looking at her ring.
"Do you like it?" I asked.
"Very. Thank you babe." She kissed my cheek and I kissed the back of her hand.
"You deserve every nice things in this world Beck." I said.
"Yes, that's why I have you."
