❝ ... HALO entertainment announced today that they are in the works of the debut of their first group — a nine-piece girl group.

halo entertainment was founded by im jina in august of 2016. since then, the buzz has spread around the world, and boys and girls around have tried their luck at the company. they started accepting trainees in the beginning of 2017. now, they're finally debuting their first artist.

the group's name is decided as GLOSS, projecting their concept, described as 'bright and playful, with an elevating liveliness that will reel you in immediately.' however, GLOSS doesn't plan to stick to just one concept. throughout their career, they want to experiment with different sounds and genres.

the nine members were announced in age order as: kiko (1999), sojung, yujin, stella, yanfei, hana, minxuan, daeun, and valerie (2003).

the girls were all revealed through halo entertainment's social medias and sites with a 'class of 2019' yearbook style photo (attached below).

gloss is set to debut sometime in early to mid 2019. look forward to their debut <3 ❞
