"P-peri?" A voice peeped. Periwinkle opened his eyes. He sat up taking in his surroundings. He was in a room, with posters of video games plastered on the walls. The familiar glow of a lamp lit up the room dimly. "P-periwinkle?" The voice said again. He looked in the derection of the voice. A small child stood near him, wearing a hoodie with cat ears. It was Starlight his younger sibling. "A-are you alright?" They asked meekly. Peri smiled weakly, "Y-yeah I'm alright Starbright." Starlight smiled shyly, that was Periwinkle's nickname for them. Starlight walked closer and held his hand. "I-i really hope so, we still have so much to do." Starlight said, tears prickling at they're eyes. "I know little buddy, I-i'll be alright." Peri said, tears starting to form in his eyes. He then took a deep breathe and fell into a deep dreamless slumber.
