So this is the end, after all those years this is what cause my end?

A single mistake I made a thousand years ago, I failed to deal the lethal blow and now here I am making the exact same one.

I was lying on the ground cut in half after having my bankai stolen this damned Yhwach waited for me to tire myself to come and finish me off

"Yamamoto genryuusai, would you like to know why you lost? Why you weren't even considered as a special threat?" Yhwach said looking down on my dying self

"A thousand year ago you were ruthless a true killing machine, your gotei 13 were as mercilless as you, during this time you were truly the only one who could kill me for good, I truly felt fear during our fight back then."

"Back then you had nothing dear to your heart, you didn't hesitate and didn't mind sacrificing some of your warriors if it meant killing one more quincy, same for the captains of that time, truly you were all merciless and laid corpses everywhere you passed."

'but now... I think of the gotei 13 as my family, every one of them are children to me, even those rascals of Kenpachi and kyoraku, in a way kurosaki Ichigo is like a grandchild to me, and i feel deep regret having to rely on him to clean our mess, this is the reason why I'm trying to help him in his normal life by protecting him from us but unfortunately that wont be possible for this time'.

"Tell me, why didn't you call for Kurosaki Ichigo despite knowing of our attack?
Why did you refuse to get your arm back despite having  Orihime Inoue proposing to heal it for you?"

'That's because I didn't want to-'

It's the same concerning the case of Kurosaki Ichigo you didnt want to have him take care of your mess, the you from a thousand years ago would not hesitate to get healed and call out to Kurosaki Ichigo."

'Strange I still can feel and think, usually when a shinigami dies his consciousness fade and his body  becomes spiritual particules that comes back to the soul society though since i'm so powerful I should be sent to-----'
