⚠️ LONG CHAPTER

"Ritsu? Guys? You in here?"

"Y/n!"

—————————————————

"You guys!" Y/n exclaimed, her mouth left open in sheer surprise. She carefully observed the physical state of each person in the room, and they all looked pretty badly injured. On their skin hid cuts and scrapes, and somewhere on the blonde with an abundance of hair lay the stomach-churning stench of ash and flames.

"Ritsu is here but the others are no where to be seen.. Maybe they left on their own, though the brunette girl was the only person they needed for escape anyways." Y/n thought, her eyebrows furrowing as she began to walk towards Ritsu with an unreadable expression.

"But I do wonder how they'll defend themselves, they seem even weaker than the lackeys that roam around this place. This is complicated.." Y/n continued to ponder, looking towards the white wall to her side absentmindedly whilst a cold bead of sweat ran down her temple.

"Y/n! You're here! You don't have a single scratch on you, there's no way you're that strong.. Right.?" A voice that Y/n had heard plenty that night had spoken, the voice of the noirette that she had flirted with ever so much over the past few days.

"Believe it or not, I didn't run into that much trouble at all.. Turns out redhead over here is friendlier than he seems-" She cut herself off.

"Oh, he's gone." She finished.

"I could be wrong, but does the redhead that escorted you here happen to have a green varsity jacket... and spiky hair?" Ritsu questioned, the doubt being obvious in his voice, let alone in his statement.

"Yeah, how'd you guess? Do you dudes know eachother or something?"

"He's the guy I insisted on fighting earlier, but I was defeated effortlessly.. Did you somehow manage to surpass him in power?!" Ritsu concluded, his voice raising at an alarming rate as he jogged over to Y/n's side of the massive white room.

"We didn't fight, we talked things out like civilized people. You bunch have strategies so foreign yet interesting, you know that about yourselves?" Y/n rambled on, all the while withholding an amused smirk on her face whilst she cocked an eyebrow.

"How could you be so bright and chipper during a situation like this? Can't you see we're trying to escape this place? This isn't just some kiddie game, we are actually in danger right now!" Reasoned the fairly agitated noirette as he balled his rough fists, banging one on a wall as his head dipped in deep frustration.

"C-calm down Ritsu, we can get out of here.. I promise! Sooner or later, we will find a way to escape.. so please don't get mad." Came a once-heard monotone voice that
Y/n remembered very well, given its rather distinct trait of lacking emotion in it whatsoever.

"Y/n, there you are! What happened before you got here?" Asked Shigeo, inching forward slowly with his hand outstretched in rising concern for her well-being. All though she didn't appear injured in any sort of way, he continued to worry.

"I-" She was cut off.

The group of kids were startled whilst the sound of the door was heard unexpectedly, in said door way revealing a blonde-haired man who was likely in his late twenties with a group of lackeys trailing behind him like a herd of cattle. He wore a gray business suit with a pink tie and his hair was cut short, as Y/n was busy observing his outward appearance, he moved further into the room and abruptly stopped.
