 (Y/N) hummed as they further curled themselves inside their hood, attempting to ignore the constant poking in their shoulder. They had been waiting for their friends, but were quite close to falling asleep.

  By quite close, I mean they had fallen, in fact, asleep.

  They had fallen asleep without their own knowledge.

  And they curse Mari's headpats for it.

  They always had been quick to fall asleep, and sadly also quick to wake up.... God how they wish they could just sleep all day.. that would be so nice.

  They furrowed their brows as the poking someone now shook their shoulders slightly. Opening an eye as they poked their head out their hood.

  Mari smiled softly at (Y/N), alongside with Basil.

  "Morning sleepyhead~!" Mari spoke.

  (Y/N) looked up at the unnaturally purple sky. Slowly sitting up as they raised their hands above their head to stretch.

  "Morning-.." They yawned. Waving to the two present friends. To which they waved back.

  They looked around for the missing members of group.

  "The others aren't here yet, just thought to wake you up." Mari hummed.

  (Y/N) turned to her with a blank stare. "I wasn't even asleep for more than ten minutes."

  To which the big sister figure just shook her head at, tucking the a red poppy behind their ear, which probably fell off while you napped...  She then turning away to strike up conversation with the mint haired boy.

  Talking about how the flowers he had planted a while back finally finished growing, and he wished to show everyone sometime.

  You never really had a green thumb, but you would always attempt to help Basil out with simple tasks such as watering.

  I mean, you've only ever drowned his flowers twice, which isn't a lot.. but its funny it happened twice.

  So you just sat criss crossed as you leaned forward to the duo, eyes closed as you patiently waited for the rest to arrive.

  Which didn't take long. Hearing a familiar voice shout out;

  "MARI! BASIL! (Y/N)!"

  (Y/N) opened their eyes to see the rest of the group walking towards them, trapping Basil in a circle(wether intentional or not).
 
  "Hello Aubrey" Mari greeted. "Hello everyone! How are you all doing today?"

  "KEL'S BEING MEAN TO ME AGAIN!!" Aubrey shouted out, pointing an accusing finger at the boy.

  "Oh no! Not again.."  Mari hummed, playing along with the little banter. "How could he?"
