So before I get this crazy train going can anyone explain to me why I should care about this character

I have tried to find any way to make me care about this character, i grew up around characters that were actually evil, don't get me wrong she is able to convince people to betray gods they worshiped for years, but she acts like a child throwing a tantrum because things don't go how she wants, and she was cursed with the last words being "you will live till you know the meaning of life" but to each person it is different, but in truth there is no over all meaning but people spens every chance to try and show its not true, but think when people die they are gone so people greave for a long time and move on, but she refuses to move on, except he was gone, and blames everything and one except herself, then they try to emply salem is going to die from ruby's silver eyes but it won't, for the simple fact, she is not all grimm, she has a human soul whith a curse of immortality, so at most it will piss her off, and to top it all, she is a villain that had so much build up only for her to, want to kill everyone just to die
But if you look at her backstory that already shows it won't work, but she thinks this time will be different, how so?, which way?, and didn't you already do this?
Are just a few questions that pop into my head when i think about her goals, p.s. nothing is going to change she hasn't learned a single lesson and yet acts like she is in control of everything yet she is in control pf nothing
So with that sorted, can someone give me a way to fix this character, i already got plans for adam, cinder, and salem's table of useless people
If you wanna know what i mean by fix here is a short explination for a few
Adam: tried to make his a love sick villain that forgot all about the faunus and just wanted love from blake (it ruined what was a good set up)
Cinder: (two words) Power Hungry (if I need to say more watch her back story)
Salem's group: (when i say this I am talking about watts and all the others) what was there plot again, why did they join salem, ect (this goes on for a while but i don't even remember half there names so do i need to explain more?)
Also I have rants for all these characters if you ever want to read them and i can make parts for the story

So with all that shit out of the way I am going to go work on plot one and until I can care about salem, Cinder is the top villain of the story
