[NAME] COUGHED violently in the bathroom of her room. blood sprayed against her hand, petals were coming out without a stop. it stung agonizingly. it made her lungs burn as she could feel the intense pain from the roots of the flower. she started questioning herself.

mid tone blue with hints of undertone purple; a meaning of heartbreak. [name] felt her eyes sting from all the crying she's done. why does it hurts so much just to like one person?

she turned on the sink and washed her hands quickly, adding soap on to her palms as she did so. "i have to confess to him, don't i?" she asked silently. she grabbed a tissue after turning off the sink, drying her hands, she threw the tissue into a bin and left the bathroom.

she laid in her bed silently, looking up at the ceiling. it felt as if it was yesterday, enjoying ice cream together after a long hot day, and now it's a situation painted with blood and petals. two things that could never be together. she contemplated. should she confess? or should she die agonizingly?

she heaved out a heavy sigh, that question, is something she couldn't answer. she didn't want to die nor does she had the confidence to express her feelings.

"i told you, didn't i? i don't want to see your face, i don't want to even hear your voice, i don't want any of you to be mixed up with any part of my life again! leave me alone! leave!" [name] exclaimed out of frustration and stress, she turned on her heel and bolted out of the classroom, making her way towards the detention room.

the sudden memory flashed, she groaned out of frustration, angry at herself that she couldn't control her words, but then she stayed still and quiet again. her eyes drooped out of exhaustion as her muscles felt sore.

her throat felt dry. she was at the lowest point in her life. "what should i do?" she whispered to herself. there's no way she would open up to her mother about this, her mother doesn't even care for her wellbeing, so what is the point of talking to her about this? it's not as if she's going to care anyways.

however, she wished she could talk to her father at this moment. her father was the opposite of her mother, warm and understanding. "father..." she mumbled as she looked up to the sky, indeed, it's been six years since her father had passed away due to cancer.

"what should i do?" [name] asked silently, and as always, she was left unanswered. she fell silent, tears started to form. gosh was she exhausted from today. the glistening substance fell from the end of her eye and onto her blanket.

"even if i moved on— it's no use, isn't it?" she asked herself. "the only way to cure hanahaki is to get him to like me back," she whispered. "i guess i'm coming after you a tad bit sooner, father," she said— fully surrendering in this situation. she coughed— and there, a white petal popped out.

a sign of surrender... and death.

 and death
