"Last one to get to the kitchen has to make the rest of us whatever we want to eat" Vic says to me and Trav we just got back from a fire so it would be nice to have food made for me
"your on" I say to her then I look at travis and I raise an eyebrow "fine" he says pumping himself up me and vic laugh
"hey Andy can you count us down please" I yell out she chuckles a bit and nods "you guys are such little kids" Andy says shaking her head
"ok everyone touch the truck, okay on the count of three, one..... two...... three" she says and we all bolt of I run up stairs and into the kitchen first then Vic then travis
"I would like a BLT please" Vic says walking over to the table "oh yeah same, thank you travis, love you" I say blowing a kiss to him and then walking over to the table as well. The only other person in there is Maya. Where do I start with Maya to put it as nice as I can would be to say 'we just don't see eye to eye' we never have ever since I joined the team we just have bashed heads and to be honest I don't even know why
"sounds like someone has a crush on a gay man" maya says snapping me out my thoughts
"ewww god no he is definitely not my type" I say by now almost everyone is in here except ben hes probably calling miranda saying hes okay
"what is your type anyways I've never seen you with a guy before" vic says looking at me so is everyone else am I gonna do this now infront of everyone. Fuck it
"women" I simply say like I didn't just drop a giant bomb on them while I take a bite of an apple everyone goes wide eyed and maya chokes a little on her smoothie
"what" travis yells a bit "and you didn't tell me" he yells more I look around at everyone who still look shocked
"seriously none of you realized" I raise my eyebrow and look around then all of a sudden jack pulls out his wallet and holds up 50 bucks then maya proudly walks over to him
"Maya did" he says as maya grabs the money and then sits down I look at her and raise an eyebrow and she just stares at me and raises her eyebrow but kinda in a flirty way but I'm probably imagining things I roll my eyes and turn to travis who gives me my BLT and it makes my mouth water I don't think I can get it to my mouth quick enough I swallow the first bite and turn to travis "thank you so much bro this is sooo good" I say to him with a big smile
"your welcome but welcome to the openly gay firefighter club" he says patting me on the back. I finish my BLT and then go have a shower cuz my shifts almost over as a walk out I'm only wrapped in a towel I grabbing my clothes out my locker I can feel someone watching me so I look around to find maya leaning against the door frame watching me and my god did she look hot
"have you got a staring problem?" I ask her she just rolls her eyes "were all about to go to the bar want to come?" She asked
"sure I just gotta get changed first" I say holding my clothes "you could just wear the towel no one would complain" she says looking me up and down shes flirting with me what the fuck, I just roll my eyes and walk away to get dressed. Once I've finished getting dressed I walk down stairs and out to the carpark expecting to see travis cuz he was my ride but instead I see maya leaning against her car on her phone but when she hears me walking she looks up
"travis told me he wanted to go and not wait so he payd me to wait" she says with a smirk
"thanks but I'd rather walk" I say turning around but then it starts raining so I turn around looking at the ground
"actually" I say but shes already in her car so she doesn't hear me and then she just drives off so I quickly run into the station to avoid getting wet more once I'm in I pull out my phone and text travis

At the station cuz of the rain I'll call a cab to take me home cuz mayas a bitch have a goodnight love you x

Wait why didn't you go with maya?
Me
Becauseeee I told her I would walk but then it started raining and she just drove past smiling at me
Travis
Okay I'm sorry I could still pick you up if you want

No it's fine I'm looking forward to snuggling up in bed with some pizza whatching movies
Travis
I sent maya back to the station to take you home love you x
Just then maya walks in looking kinda pissed "thank you" I mumble loud enough for her to hear me though "what was that?" She smirks
"I'm not saying it again once was all your gonna get" I say walk out to her car once she unlocks it I quickly get in
"put your place in the GPS" she says and I do once we get there "are you sure this is your place" she asks I turn to look at the house and then back to her "sadly" I joke but it really isn't a joke then she starts to unbuckle her seat belt
"what are you doing?" I ask her "walking you up to the door to make sure your safe the team would kill me if anything happened to you" she says
"you don't have to but thank you" I say and give her a small smile we walk up to the door and I open it to see franny sat next to the table that's on fire
"oh my god franny get away from that" I say running in and to the kitchen I quickly grab a towel and dowse it in water and then run and lay it over the table by now maya had picked up franny that's when I noticed Carl sat on the couch watching porn on the tv I quickly grab the remote turning it off Carl then looks up at me angry
"what the hell" he yells "go to your room" I say calmly and he knows I'm being so he walks off to his room I then take franny out mayas arms
"thank you and I'm sorry" I apologize "it's fine don't worry" she awkwardly smiles but then her smile becomes real walking over to some pictures and picking up one
"is this you" she asks the picture was me when I was like 6 "yeah" I say and then she takes a picture of it and giggles and then walks to the door I still have franny on my hip I walk up to the door with her say goodbye and make sure she gets to her car once shes in I shut the door then look at franny
"come on it's time to go to bed sweetheart" I say kissing her forehead and then taking her to bed once shes all tucked in I order my pizza and go lay down.
