I feel the hot water run over my body as I have my shower Im about to get out when the door opens "not looking" she says as she walks over to the sink and starts brushing her teeth

"get out" I yell and she rolls her eyes walking out shuting the door behind her and I get out and wrap my towel around me and go to my room.

"Whats with you and smoothies" I say as I walk into the kitchen bearly awake "there healthy and give me energy something you clearly need" she says and places a smoothie in front of me

"I made an extra one for you" she says, I honestly can't get over her being nice "thank you?" I accept skeptically "it's not poison" she says as she walks out the room. I try the smoothie and it's actually good I can see why shes always got one she comes back in "were leaving in ten so make sure your ready" she quickly says and then leaves again. I didn't realize she was gonna be taking to work but okay.

"Stop looking back at him getting changed it's weird" I whisper to travis as I tighten my belt "I wasn't, don't look at me like that and put a shirt on" he says and his voice goes all high like mine apparently does.

Jack slowly walks past us and I instantly wrap my arms around him pulling him into a hug which he accepts I pull away after about five seconds and go to put my shirt on but stop when I hear a voice "nice bra by the way" he chuckles "dude I know your joking but this bra is the best thing ever" I say as I carry on getting dressed. So back story, once jack got me this like super comfy bra as a gag gift because I was always complaining about how uncomfortable my bra was.

"Hey I heard Vasquez goes home today. How you doing jack?" Travis asks jack "half the team still won't look at me but the shiner's gone" he says really depressed, jack gives him a bit of a nod and then walks off so I follow.

"So you guys slept in the same bed but didn't do anything?" Vic prys but then a man walks in "can I help you sir?" Vic asks the old man "uh, yeah I'm hear for the chief" he's tells us "um the Cheif doesn't work here unless you mean Sullivan" vic explains

"no not Sullivan the cheif!" The man say getting annoyed and loud "okay can I tell him who's here? Sir what's your name" vic ask "get the cheif now or I'm gone!" The old man yells, vic looks at me with a questioning look I just shrug my shoulders "okay alright oh, you know what? Your in luck he is right here" she says pointing to dean "what" Dean and I both mutter "uh this man is here to see the chief which you".

Later that night
"Hey you ready to go?" I ask as I walk into Mayas office "yeah, do wanna go to the bar, I feel like a beer?" She asks as she grabs her keys "yeah I could do with one aswell". We get to the bar and I go straight to the bar "3 shots please" I ask the bartender and he pours them for me instantly. Maya sits next to me as I shot all 3 shots "woah Salem am I gonna need to cut you off already?" She jokes as she orders her self a beer.

MAYAS POV
it's been about an hour and Salem is very drunk but shes a cute drunk so I don't mind. "Oh im gonna be sick" Salem says running to the bath room I immediately rush after her. She leans over the toilet and I hold back her hair for her while she's sick "it's okay, get it all out" I whisper as I rub her back. She wipes her mouth and sits up properly next to the toilet "I'm sorry I'm such a mess" she hiccups "I just feel bad about him it's my fault and I was horrible to him, he di-" I cut her off by placing my hand on the side of her face

SALEMS POV
I was instantly sober at mayas action I stop looking at the ground and make eye contact with her. Her thumb starts to caress my cheek "hey look at me. You are the most beautiful and kindest woman I have ever met, you do not need to feel sorry okay?" She says like a question. I feel all warm and tingly inside after hearing her say that. "woah are you sure I'm the drunk one?" I ask with a giggle

"yes it's why im being nice, you won't remember it in the morning" she says smugly "finee then I'll write it down somewhere" I say looking around for something to write on "come on let's go" she says and helps me get up. We walk to her car

"wait we forgot to pay" I say  turning back "don't worry about it" she says unlocking the car "but-" I try to argue but she cuts me off "Salem, get in the car please" she asks, so I do "if we get arrested I will kill you" I tell her "sure you will" she sarcastically says "I-I" I try to argue but the words don't come to my mouth

"your actually quite cute when you are all flustered" she says, keeping her eyes on the road "I'm not flustered" I argue "you definitely are" she says reaching over to pull the mirror out. I look into the mirror and I see a lite blush that has spreed over my cheeks which makes me go even more red, I look out the corner of my eyes to see Maya smirking "whatever" I say putting the mirror away and crossing my arms.

"we are home" she announces "I have eyes you know" I say getting out of the car "really?" She asks walking around the car "get out so I can lock it" she tells me "don't tell me what to do" I say not getting up "get out" she starts to get annoyed

"I can't be bothered with your shit Salem it's late so get out" she snaps "make me" you say. Maya pulls me out of the car "rude" I say leaning against the car "god you can be so annoying" she yells rolling her eyes "so can you" I yell back "and don't yell at me" I continue.

It all happens so quickly, so quickly I cant even protest. First Maya places her hand on the car right next to my head then Mayas face gets closer and she looks down at my lips and then back into my eyes then her lips touch mine.
