Anger, By Fanrequestedstories

Burning like white-hot fire,
Can't help but feel the desire
to harm, to hurt, to kill.

Flaring hotter still,
Fueled by my emotions,
Anger and Sadness and
Still.

Frozen in place,
Emotions consumed
Floating in space,
The fire renewed

Burning up all rational thought,
Leaving an irrational haze.
The sweet relief that is so sought,
Is to raze

This city where the Anger doth lie,
This city where the children do cry.
This city where the police are your enemy's,
This city where nothing is

Your friends, Turned against you,
Someone like you, but ain't you,
The same as you, but not,
with your knowledge, but not.

The fire spreads to your body,
Veins filling with smoke.
You smile as you realise,
Rage is a spark of Hope.

Burning through the last of my restraint,
The last thing I see is lunging for you.
