You and Taehyun were playing Mario Kart on the switch. You were sitting on the floor, facing the TV, leaning your back against the couch that Taehyun was sat on. You had been winning until you began to tease Taehyun, causing him to stop letting you win and actually try to beat you. As he got more and more competitive, the worse you did. You were on the last lap of the final map and Taehyun had finished first a while ago, you being in 8th place. "Babe~! Why~" You whined as he lay down on the sofa behind you and giggled to himself hugging a pillow, watching you finally pass the finish line. His eyes squinted, and his mouth smiling wide as he laughed in the cutest way you could imagine. However, no amount of cuteness could make up for the betrayal you felt. "You're so bad at this." He said wiping a few tears that had formed, trying to catch his breath. You jokingly hit his shoulder and he gently pushed you back. You stood up sulking, hovering above his form on the low sofa and lay on top of him. He gave you a loving hug before you sat up and continued to sulk. "You obviously cheated, you were doing so terribly before! It's not fair, bullying your own girlfriend in Mario Kart!" You huffed, crossing your arms while rambling. "You could've at least let me have one more win, then i would've-" You hadn't realised that Taehyun had sat up and was now holding your face in his hands, forcing you to hold eye contact with him. He gently squished your cheeks causing you to pout. "Yah! Shush a second!" He said jokingly. And you began to giggle, "I love you! But i can't help that you're bad at Mario Kart!" He paused realising what he had said. This was the first time either had said the word. You simply stared at each other in shock before his hands fell between your shoulders and your neck. You brought your own hands to his face and held it, much like he had done to you before. You leaned in and pecked his lips. His hands tangled themselves in your hair at the nape of your neck as he deepened the kiss. Both of you smiled into it. You pulled away leaning your foreheads against eachother and laughed. "You have to say it back you know?" "I know, I'm just angry that you beat me at two things." "Hmm? Whats that?" "Well first Mario Kart," Taehyun sighed and laughed at the grudge you held. "And then you beat me to saying 'I love you' first." You pulled your head away and pouted. "So you're not going to say it back?" "Not until you apologise." Taehyun stood up from his seat and sat you on the couch. "My dearest Y/n." He got down on his knees and began to bow. "I am so very sorry that i beat you at Mario Kart. And! At being the first to say 'I love you'. Now, please say it back before i cry!" He said sitting on his knees, leaning his head on his hands on the edge of the couch cushion. "You have been forgiven. I love you too darling~" You said, once again holding his face and giving him another passionate kiss. You pulled away and Taehyun looked up at you with only pure adoration in his eyes. He smiled wide and held your hands. "I always will my love~" He said before you both took your places on the couch and began to watch a movie. Him laying down comfortably and you laying on top of him, your head on his chest and one if his arms around you, both snuggled under a blanket.
