It was a Chaotic day on the base as scientists and engineers are running around one of the drydocks. The drydock holds one of the only ships that have successfully proceeded into the project and now after months of work the fruit of the project is about to blossom.
And in the middle of the chaos two engineers are walking towards the completed ship that is in the dock
??1: Are you sure this will work? You know damn well what happened to others
??2: And you know that they didn't get as far into the project as her
??1: Goddamit Hans can't you see what I'm trying to say
Hans: Keine Sorge (Don't worry) about me John
John: How do you expect me not to worry
Hans: As I said don't worry about me mein Freund. I awakened almost all of our PR ships
John: Still most of them were from before 50's era and now this ship is from after that... and you know first-hand how much more dangerous it is to awaken Kansen from after WW2
Hans: Das ist true, Aber (But) we have advanced our own technology so there shouldn't be too many problems
The Eagle Union scientist then stops and seeing this his Iron Blood colleague also stops
John: What do you mean by that? You don't mean...
Hans: Ja we have studied the tech from the siren wrecks and were able to learn from them
John: Y-you know that if they learn you used siren tech in the ship they...
Hans: Keine Sorge (Don't worry) We didn't use the tech in the ship itself, only in the construction process.
John: But still this is going to stir some problems
Hans: I know that there is going to be some sort of a meeting between our leaders in April to discuss this sort of thing
John: That's five months from now
Hans: Then we better get moving Freund
After that, the two heads of the project went into the enclosed building which housed the dry dock and the ship
John: Magnificent isn't she
Hans: Ja, although I don't understand why you chose an Essex class hull
John: Because that should prove the least difficult since the Essex class started in 1940s and served well into the early '90s before the Sirens and Kansen were a thing
Hans: I thought as such | The Iron Blood engineer says with a slight chuckle
John: Then we better get ready
Hans: Ja, we don't want the others to wait too long
He said as he pointed at the group of spectators that was made up of scientists and officers from Eagle Union, Iron Blood, Sakura Empire and Royal Navy.
