Chapter 11 - A Day at the Base

"Essex! Get over here!" Helena yelled as she found April passed out under a tree, thanks to her SG radar she was able to find him first and was now next to him as Essex was now also making her way there.

"I'm coming!" Essex yelled as she got closer, about 10 minutes after the meeting/interrogation ended she realized that her brother was missing, what didn't help was that Commander Summer received an anonymous tip that said:

"Willkommen Shikikan named after the season that is present in July, I am writing this to thou, for a ship named after the month before May has gone missing in thou care. I will not be able to help more for salvation will not come. I refuse to elaborate further *Leaves*

The entire base was on alert since they feared that the sirens somehow got their hands on April and the anonymous message didn't help to ease the worries so when Helena called out to Essex, she went so fast that someone might have thought she teleported to the Brooklyn-class light cruiser of St. Louis subclass.

"AH!" Helena squealed as Essex appeared near her

"DID YOU FIND HIM!" She yelled out

"Y-yes, he's here" Helena stuttered and pointed at the boy lying next to the tree that stood next to them. Essex immediately went and hugged her sleeping brother tightly who woke up

"E-sex?" he weakly called out as he tiredly looked around "Where am I?"

"Yes, that's me your big sister. who did you expect, Atago?" Essex joked and let out a chuckle

"How did I get here?" April asked

"Well, it's either the siren or we have no idea" Essex answered truthfully "Now then, let's get to the cantine since you are probably starving," Essex said as she started walking leaving Helena behind as she went her own way.

The two Essex-class carriers were walking along the port when April spoke up

"Can you let go of me, I can walk on my own." The boy said as Essex shook her head

"No, I'm going to bring you to the canteen where we will finally eat" Essex said as she tightened her grip on her brother

"I can eat an MRE like I was doing before," He said as Essex immediately dropped him and stared in front of her with dread

"Ouch! what was that for" April said as he looked where Essex was staring and saw Enterprise and Belfast next to her. Belfast looked at the two Carriers and appeared as if she raptured a vine

"Did I hear someone was eating MRE?" Belfast said in a sinister voice as Enterprise gave a look that said "Run! Boy RUN!"

"RUN AWAY!" Essex herself yelled as Belfast began walking menacingly towards the two.

"Huuh?" April looked at Essex confused and then back towards Belfast only to see her gone "Huh?"

Meanwhile, in the Sakura Empire, a Blond-tsundere heavy cruiser looks into the distance "Huuuuh!" She says as we go back to Azur Lane.

As April stood up he felt a hand on the back of his shoulder and when he looked back he saw Belfast with a malicious grin

"You know eating only rations is bad for your health?!" She said in a frightening voice

"A-actually, I-it's not so bad since the rations I have been eating have been made to taste good and have all the nutritional needs," April says in self-defense as Belfast looks at him with a look that told him she wasn't going to let it slide

"That doesn't matter," Belfast said as April sighed and moved Belfast's hand from his shoulder

"Guess I'll have to use a secret technique that I learned from the Sakura Empire," April said as Belfast looked puzzled "NIGERUNDAYO Essex!" April yelled as he quickly took off running.
