Chapter 13 - Bombs Falling Not Far From Shores

From the cloud of smoke, the small body of April can be seen falling. His Shark rigging out sending a last squadron of planes to fight the last battle before it also falls unconscious and disappears leaving a more standard-looking Essex-class rigging in its place. The force of him impacting the water creates a small splash of water for a ship of his displacement. The battle mostly stopped and everyone is staring as April tries to stand up. No one know what to do, they were just fighting each other when the strongest fighters and leaders on both sides stopped fighting once they saw how April moved in to save Enterprise and Kaga. Traces of blood can be seen dripping from different parts of his body, the now normal Essex-class rigging more than 3/4th of the way destroyed as the entire left side of it is full of holes and cracks. Not having enough strength to even stand up April falls down again and again, his fox features now showing as he has no strength to hide them.

"A-april!" Essex says and finally starts walking towards her brother as she finally managed to get out of the spectator state. But she was too slow as dark tentacles with neon piss lights appear around April before the known figure of Observer Alpha resurfaced from the water.
"The strongest carrier they said huh?! And yet he so easily fell down" Oberver said as she picked the still-conscious but too-weak boy with her tentacles
"Leave him alone you siren!" Essex yelled as some of the other Azur Lane girls broke out of the spectator state and were now aiming at Oberver
"You wouldn't want to hurt him. Right?" She asked mockingly as she moved April to a possition where any attack would 100% hit him

The girls couldn't do anything as they watched the siren play with April. On the side of Crimson Axis, the sentiment was even more confusing as most didn't know they were working with the sirens.
"What to do, what to do~? Hah." Observer Alpha asked mockingly before a faint whisper could be heard
"stop." Observer looked around but didn't sea anyone when the voice again said, more loudly
"Stop" This time she turned to face Azur Lane but no one said anything...
"This... is- the... e-end." The voice said as she turned April so he would face her and she saw that it was him, a weak grin on his tear and blood covered face as water made small canals in the blood that covered his face
"Booo." He said weakly as from the sky the planes he sent out returned. Their engines turned off and solely glided along as they opened fire on observer. She quickly moved to defend herself when the 20mm guns and a 5-inch rocket broke the tentacles that held April and he again fell down, this time to his knee as he stayed on the ocean surface.

The closest person to him was surprisingly Nagato as the Sakura Empire Super-dreadnought was for once on the front leading her subordinates no-, friends. She helped the weak boy up as he stood at a similar height to her.
"Tsk..." Observer let out as she looked at her damaged rigging and the falling planes that she managed to shoot down,
"I think it's time to finish this battle Akagi~" Oberver said in a mocking voice as she turned to the kitsune.
"I think you're right..." She said to everyone's surprise as her rigging erupted into red flames and she sent out her planes...

At the same time, Aprill finally collapsed due to his damage, stress and tiredness.

Suddenly I wake up, all around me is water and in front of an isle with a single sakura tree in full blossom as pink petals are both falling and still on the tree, not knowing what to do i decide to walk forth and see what might i encounter under said tree.

Once I closed the distance i see a figure under thy tree, a girl from the sakura empire yet one i didn't see. She wears a kimono and drinks some tea as her small umbrella covers her cup.
