Episode 7- Battle on a Desert

Kotaro POV

We found a door soon enough, we finally arrived at the Castle Keep. We were greeted by a damn Malachi that blasted a green ball of energy at me, good thing Alucard blocked it with is shield and killed the damn demon.

We pressed on and butchered the monsters of the area.

There were Succubi, Werewolves, Witches, Valkyries, Bats, Final Guards, Devils, Mini Devils, Fleamen, Ax Armors, Skeleton Archers and Soldiers, Vampire Knights, Black Panthers, Liliths, She-wolves, Blood Skeletons, Medusa Heads and a bunch of Erinys that attacked us.

Large groups of them were making one final effort to push us vampire hunters back. I gotta' respect their bravery even though they are our enemies.

When we have to kill Final Guards, I need to do an Item Crash (I mostly use Grand Cross or Thousand Edge) and sometimes all of us need to use our strongest abilities at once.

Soon, we finally reached a passage, we ran straight towards it, most of us ended up bumping ourselves against something invisible blocking the way. Turns out there was some barrier set up there according to Alucard. We took another route, we were soon in front of the stairs that lead to the Pinnacle.

Suddenly, a large group of witches in brooms came out of nowhere and began casting spells at us.

"Kotaro, go defeat Dracula, we will handle this!" Getsumei shouted as he fired his silver gun at a witch, it hit her at the chest, she fell off her broom.

I nodded and hurried up the stairs as my friends fought the monsters. I knew they were all counting on me. I suppose this is the true last time the Belmonts would face Lord Dracula.

I reached the Pinnacle and walked on the hallway leading to where the throne is. When I was there, I halted in front of Dracula and turned to look at him.

"Dracula! In the name of my family, I will be the one to defeat you for one last time." I shouted so my voice is loud enough for him to hear. "Humanity shall not suffer on your doings ever again, your castle's gonna be sent back to the year you were defeated by a glyph user."

"Hmph..." Dracula said as he finished drinking from his wine glass.

He threw his glass of wine at me, I ducked, it crashed through the window behind him. "Dumbass, you broke your damn window." I said insulting him. "Very well then..." Dracula said standing up. "Kotaro... Belmondo!" he shouted.

I did a stance. He disappeared in a pillar of light. I looked behind me, one appeared, Dracula was in front of me now, I whipped at his face a few times before backflipping away. He summoned fireballs from his robe. I did a double jump and an uppercut to dodge.

I drop kicked on his head and landed behind him before he disappeared in another pillar of light, he reappeared in another one at my left, he tried to grab my neck but I managed to frontdash away and use Thousand Edge at his face, he got hit five times the face but he managed to block the rest by using his robe, they bounced off it.

He summoned Dark Infernos using it. I ducked to dodge the first one and jumped to dodge the second. I threw an ax at the King of the Night.

It hit him at the face, dealing a bit of damage.

I frontdashed towards him and did an uppercut at his face, I tried to whip him too but he grabbed me by the neck.

He threw me to a wall, I crashed on it and landed on the marble floor hard. I stood up groaning in pain. Dracula approached me.

"It has been a while since I had fought a descendant of your clan." he said as I stood up.

"I'd never thought this moment would come." I said approaching.
