Episode 8- The War of 2060

Kotaro POV

We finally arrived at the city. Monsters were warring in there while civilians struggle to survive as soldiers try to stop them.

It seems that Katsuki forged a bunch of Innocent Devils to aid him.

We splitted up in groups of two, my Dad joined the battle too. He may not be as strong as he was in his prime but he's still as strong as he was back when Getsumei's dad went on his quest for the first time.

We ran around the streets and threw sub-weapons, Dad used a whip consecrated for fighting demons and vampires.

"Kotaro, look out!" Dad yelled.

I turned round, a Succubus was swooping down on me.

I threw an ax at her, she bursted to flames.

Suddenly, I heard screeching. I turned round. Two monsters were behind me and Dad. They were Slogra and Gaibon.

"Yare Yare..." I said in Japanese. I pointed at the air. "Hydro Storm!" I shouted. Holy water rained from the sky. The two demons bursted into flames.

"Impressive, never knew you learned how to do Item Crashes." Dad said.

"Heh, mostly use Thousand Edge and Hydro Storm though. Their the best ones to use if you want to finish off a demon quickly." I said.

We pressed on, slaying every single monster in our way. 

A group of Minotaurs came charging at us. Both me and Dad threw bottles of holy waters at the, we dodged their axes.

I whipped at one of them, the spikes of the ball of the VK pierced through it's chest, it burst into flames. Soon, more of them appeared. Me and Dad exhanged looks, we both rose to the air. "GRAND CROSS!" we both shouted at the same time, a pillar of blue flames resembling a giant cross appeared behind each of us, my Grand Cross pulled the Minotaurs faster, I stole most of the kills but that's very understandable why Dad's is slow at pulling enemies because no offence but he is actually already an old man.

Once we both descended on the ground, the Minotaurs that dared attack us were all taken down by our Grand Crosses.

We pressed on.

Getsumei POV

I took the demons that stood on me and Ayaka's way. I was truly eager to finally get to Katsuki and give him a painful death.

I was grouped up with Ayaka by Alucard, we splitted up in groups of 2, but since Tamotsu, an Innocent Devil I forged, is with me, we're the only group with three member.

I threw a bottle of holy water at a Mini Devil who swooped down at me, he burst into flames.

We pressed on, I have Tamotsu, my sub-weapons, my silver gun and the sword Samuel gave me on our last adventure while Ayaka uses a dagger infused with magic, spells and her glyphs.

Suddenly, there was a blinding flash of light. Katsuki was standing in front of us.

"I'll kill you right here..." he said coldly. There was a purple flash of light. Me and him were standing in a building right now. "I wish to kill you by myself."

"Very well then..." I said. Both of us did a stance. After a few seconds of silence, we charged at one another.

Our swords clashed. 

"What will you do, Katsuki? You can no longer hide behind your "servant"." I said.

"Norman is dead because of your desire to rid the world of evil itself, Getsumei. What more will you do to ruin my plans?" Katsuki asked.
