Episode 6- Ticking Clock

Christopher POV

We traversed the Kotaro. We fought the worst nightmare of every hero who opposed Count Dracula... MEDUSA HEADS!

We hopped on gears while killing them, Harpies, Mini Devils and bats, along the way Kotaro woke up, I did pole vaults to jump on higher ones, unlike the others who can perform double jumps well, I'm bad at doing them, trust me. 

During my training with my mentor back then who was Gabriel, he taught me how to double jumps, but I failed a bunch of times, as I did a pole vault, I remembered it.

October 30, 2044

"Ok, good, you mastered how to use the powers of the Alucard Spear, but you must now learn what you will need the most, double jumps." Gabriel said.

Seven year old me nodded at this. "I am ready, sir." I said.

"Good, now, watch closely."  he said. He turned towards a wall of the training grounds of the mansion I live in. That's right, we Lecardes are a wealthy family. He jumped on the air, when I expected him to end up crashing on the wall, he managed to do another jump on mid-air and land on it. I was amazed at this.

"Now, you must learn how to do timing." Gabriel said looking at me. "Ah, timing..." I said chuckling nervously. "My worst enemy." 

"You have to learn how to overcome your weaknesses, kid. Now, try." he said. He stepped aside for me to jump on the wall. I gulped at this and went into a stance. After a few seconds, I jumped, I tried to do another jump but I ended up crashing on the wall and falling back to the grass. 

I groaned in pain. "Ow..."

Gabriel facepalmed.

He tried his best to make it simple for me to do, but since timing itself is my worst enemy, I never succeeded, I'm lucky I can do pole vaults.

Back to present...

I shook off the memory and stabbed a Medusa Head floating towards me. It bursted into flames. I sighed.

Soon, we encountered one of those doors again that has a room behind containing a strong enemy inside.

When we were in it, the door closed. Nothing was there. Suddenly, there was a blinding flash of light. A man with a top hat appeared.

"Wait, it's you..." Getsumei said. I remembered this guy, he was Saint Germain

"Ah, please to meet you again, Hector, oh, no I mean err, Getsumei." he said.

"So, how may we be of service to you." Hohenheim asked.

"Oh uh, just want to test Mr. Getsumei's strength."

"Just Getsumei is fine. Anyways, ok.".

Getsumei did a stance

Getsumei POV

"Guys, no need to interfere, he just wants to test my strength." I said.

Saint Germain drew out his sword and did a stance.

I decided to fight with my fists, I want to see how strong I am even without weapons.

After a few secs, I charged at him at full speed, he disappeared in a pillar of light. I heard the sound of someone teleporting close by. I turned round and managed to punch him to a wall. He crashed on it.

"Wow, impressive." he said grunting as he got up. "Tell me, how did you become this strong?" 

"I had it since birth, I didn't know I was a werewolf until I went into a quest with my friends to kill a vampire." I said as we approached one another. I charged. Saint Germain tried to slash at me with his sword, I backdashed two times and slide kicked towards him, rapidly, tripping him. He disappeared in a pillar of light. I looked round to see if he is around. A pillar of light appeared in front of me. As soon as he reappeared, I tried to land a kick on him but he side-stepped and tried to slash at me, I ducked and tried to punch him to the ceiling with an uppercut, however, he dodged this and tried to slash at me.
