Brooke walked through the busy halls of the music department. You could hear the music in the choir room as they played away.

Everything has been so stressful the past year. Her brother left a few years ago for his wife because he was "spending too much time at work."

Yes, while Joey was overworking everyone a little, the company had just started. Of course there's going to be bumps in the road.

Brooke sighed as she read through her last letter from her brother, Henry. The music ended and one by one people started exiting the choir room.

"Ah, Brooke! I wasn't expecting you to be here!" She looked over noticing a familiar friend of hers, head of the music department, Sammy Lawrence.

"Oh, hello Sammy!" She smiled. She stood up greeting him as he smiled at her. "I apologize, Shawn sent me up here to drop off paperwork for Joey." She smiled.

Sammy stared at her as she rambled on. He couldn't help but admire her, she's been so calm and kind every since she started working at this dammed studio.

Even when faced with a frustrated coworker, or overbearing work, or poor work conditions, she always wears a smile no matter what.

"Sammy? Are you listening?" Brooke asked. He stiffened. "Y-Yes! I'm perfectly fine." He laughed. "Oh, good! I thought I might've lost you there for a minute." She lightly giggled.

"No, no. I'm alright... um, actually... there's this new, um..." "Brooke!" The two turned seeing Wally walk over to them.

"Shawn's lookin for ya. Needs ya down in the toy shop." He said. Brooke gave him a big smile. "You got it, Wally! Keep an eye on your keys too buddy, you don't wanna loose em again." She said and started walking away.

"Have a wonderful day you two." She exited the room.  Sammy kicked himself internally. "Shoot. Damn it Wally." He mumbled.

As Brooke headed to the elevator she saw Grant approaching it too. "Hey, Grant!" She called out. "Brooklyn." He nodded.

"Where you headin buddy?" She asked. "Level nine, please." He replied. She pressed the buttons for both nine and K.

They travelled down sharing small talk. "Salary issues I'm guessing?" He nodded with an annoyed expression.

"Hm. That's not good." She said still smiling. "Doesn't your face hurt from smiling so much?" He asked. "No offense. It's just how can you be so happy all the time in a place like this?"

"Hm... Well... I prefer to look on the bright side of things, after all, nothing's gonna get done when your all mopey and sad." She told him.

He took a look at her expression with her never ending smile. "I wonder how long it's gonna take before that smile of yours breaks, you know? It's not everyday you see someone around here who is as happy as you are." He said.

The elevator came to a stop at level K and Brooke left. "Have a good day, Grant. Don't stress yourself too much!" She said.

He nodded as the elevator gate shut and it continued downward. Brooke walked back to her workplace 'Heavenly Toys'

Brooke transferred over just a few months ago from the Music department. She was originally asked to voice the new character 'Alice Angel' but politely declined.

"Brooklyn, there ya are! Did ya get a count of the angel watchamacallits in the warehouse. None of it be sellin at all, ya know?" Shawn said walking up to her.

"Just about three hundred, Mr. Flynn." Brooke said. "You know we'd probably have to burn it all down just to get rid of it all." She laughed.

"Thank you Brooke. I don't know what we'd do without you here." He said. "Of course, Mr. Flynn." Brooke said and politely walked out into the main room.

She let her smile drop finally. She looked down at the letter from Henry again.

"Linda and I have been doing great. We've started thinking about a family, and don't worry, I guarantee you'll find someone eventually. Even if it's not a husband. You still love animals don't you?"

'Of course you'd say that.' She thought.
