I trudged down the hall in my house. So many things have happened over my time working for my brother's old friend...

Friends left, finances were stretched to their limit, and a project about a theme park for Bendy apparently was happening just before I left.

"I wonder how long it's gonna take before that smile of yours breaks, you know?"  Grant asked me all those years ago.

'Long ago, Grant... Long ago...' I thought. I heard a knock at the front door and looked over as the mail was slid into the mail slot.

I went over and picked it up. 'Bills, letters, what's this?' I thought looking at two letters with a wax seal of the familiar demon on the back of it.

Brooklyn Stein and Henry Stein was neatly written on the fronts with her address as well. She placed the rest of the letters on the ground as her golden retriever, Edison, went and started chewing them up.

She opened the envelope and pulled out an old letter.

'Dear Brooklyn,

It's hard to believe it's been twenty three years since you've worked at the studio. I know we didn't leave on pleasant terms, but I would like you to come back to show you something.

                                          Your best pal, Joey Drew'

'P.S. I apologize for Henry's letter ending up at your house, his old address was invalid.'

I opened Henry's letter too and read almost the same thing Joey sent me.

'Dear Henry,

It seems like a lifetime since we worked on cartoons together. Thirty years really slips away, doesn't it? If you're back in town, come visit the old workshop. There's something I need to show you.

Your best pal, Joey Drew'

"Joey..." I mumbled. "What do you think, Edison?" I asked my dog who was busy chewing up the letters I gave him.

I sighed and looked at the letters again. 'I should at least hear him out. He's right, we didn't end on good terms... I should at least apologize to him.' I thought.

I decided I would get ready to go, and went up stairs to change. I put on a white button up shirt with black work pants, and a pair of Mary Janes strap shoes.
