An average day
For an average introvert
"All you do is lay around doing nothing!" Your mom glares at you as you ignore her and go straight for the fridge

(I'm too hungry to argue)
(Ahh yes. Fresh Garlic pickles) you thought to yourself drooling like a kid
"Take the trash out after you done eating" your mom sighs thinking why did she gave birth to such a sloth

Your mind goes blank as you take the trash out from the front door
".. "
"She again?" You mumbled frustrated
"Y/n!, it's so good to see your face again"
Said the lady next door as she approaches you slowly

The day before yesterday You were coming home after saying goodbye to your friends who basically dragged you out. Your mom loves them and was very grateful to see her daughter finally touching some grass
All you could do is huff and wait patiently for the day to end
You looked up to see the starry sky as a petal of snow falls on your cheek
(Finally winter comes!) You love winter cuz that's where you could have a warm coffee and be under your blanket staring out from the window and questioning your whole life just to have dead end -sighs- "maybe I should at least to be more extrovert" you felt disgust as your mouth left the word extrovert
"At least I have decent grades.. I don't know about confidence" you chuckled to yourself feeling the wind blow your hair and looking down to see the moon reflecting the lake. Sighing a breath of relief you were walking home
You reached the towns alley way then hear shouts faintly
You went closer to check it out
-crashes-
"Please.. I don't have what you are looking for..., have mercy on this old lady"
You hear a sound of glass breaking and a old lady's voice who was begging for her life
"Shut it, you old hag. We know your dirty plan now. You better give back what you stole or else..." An angry man shouted
-sound of siren-
".. Shit. Who the quack called the police??, damn you..."
-loud police siren-
A man with long hood said " we better get out of here soon.. We can deal with her later" the Angry man Huffs but soon left with the others
(Idiots, at least my hack worked) you were also surprised by your wise thinking
Instead of calling 911 you decided to put siren sound in hopes they would get scared and flee
"It worked!" Wasting no time you went to the old lady who's arms were bleeding like hell. Then you warped your muffler around her arms so her bleeding may decrease
"Thank you so much young lady" the old lady said in a weak voice
You just nodded and started to call ambulance while keeping an eye on her
"Do you have any relatives that I could call? " you asked
"No.. Unfortunately"
You tried not to sigh or show any sign of annoyance
You never were in a situation like this before nor do you know how to react it's surprising how much calm you were. But then again you watch too much thrilling story and tips how the main character escape blah blah
Guess they can be useful..

- real loud siren noises- soon the police and ambulance arrived

"Mhm.. Let me take notes, so she got attacked? " Hot police man asked, seems like he is in his 20s
"Yes sir" you tried to sound ok and not shaky
"Thank you, You were very smart not to waste any time. I can't imagine how bad the scene would get if you had"
-sighs- "we need more heroes like you in our town" he bowed very deep to show his appreciation
You were just standing in front of him not knowing what emotion you should show, just nodded and said "I'll take my leave now then.."
The police man was silent for a moment then nodded "okay. Have a nice day. Thank you again"
(Should I have been stayed with her?, nah nonsense I'm not even her relatives)
You never noticed that she was your neighbor. Nor that you want to. You never really tried to know your surroundings and just be a normal human begin

"I couldn't thank you properly the other day, you saved my life!" The lady then hands over a small box to you which looked like a hundred years old. Wrapped in a very old velvet color cloth
Reminds you of the vampire show you watched yesterday night
"It's has been long sitting in my closet for decades. Finally I can give it away to someone worth" the lady said in soft cool voice as she narrows her eyes at the box, holding it gently
(What's so special about a box which looks like that it came straight from a fairy tale)
You shifted a little bit trying not to show your disinterested self
"Oh.. You don't have to M- ma'am. I just did what someone would naturally would in that situation" a sweat drop appeared on your face as you try to decline her offer as polite as possible.

the lady insisted till you had no other choice but to accept
"Well, that was a pain" Feeling tired like usual you went straight to bed and started scrolling thru your phone trying to find new otome story games
You've been graduated so now nobody can disturb you Now

That nagging feeling again..
Even though you showed no interest when the lady gave you that mysterious box but now strangely your whole body is itching to know what's in it

The designs are great, it seems the designer put their whole energy to make it look extraordinarily beautiful
Somehow YOU find it creepy, probably cuz it looked so expensive yet the lady had no heart for it. How simply she gave away such masterpiece

"Suck it, I'm opening. What's the worse could happened"

You took the box from your nightstand and putted it in your bed
Now you are sitting facing the box".. "

You gave in and open the box without wasting any time cuz that shit is dramatic
"Sighs" you are disappointed to see that the box is empty

Suddenly you felt a strong kind of wind which seemed like it came from the direction where the is
It was so strong that it made you almost back away
"Ok that's quacked up" you said as you felt something was definitely wrong
Then you immediately decided to throw the box away cuz nobody wants trouble in their life
You are an introvert even though you don't know much about the outside reality you definitely know the inside aka internet reality which is particularly taking over outside reality

You don't want to be The dumb fking Y/n who doesn't have common sense
"Jeez, I don't want no kind of adventure just for helping someone"
You mumbled your way thru the door and to the trash can in front yard

you were checking out to see if that old lady was around. It's obvious if she sees you throwing away her gift that would hurt her badly, like really badly
Like imagine you on herself, who would want their gift thorwen away?

The moment you were about to throw the box in the trash can another strong blow of wind came rushing taking the box from your hand and you..
From the corner of your eyes you could see the lady staring at you from the window behind the curtain with an emotionless face before you got taken away
