We're home. I grab Mistress and run inside. I lay her on her bed and run a more thorough scan on her.
"Tyl! Bring me a spark welder and a vibro knife!" I yell. He runs into the garage. I push gently on Mistress's side to slow the bleeding.
"TYL!" I shout again. He returns with the items I requested.
"Push here." I instruct him as I begin heating the knife with the welder.
"Is she going to be ok zero?" He asks.
"Do I look like a medical droid to you?" I ask as I push him out of the way.
"Well kinda." he retorts.
"Get out." I instruct him as I push the blade into Mistress's side.
Her screaming doesn't last long, after a few seconds she passes out from the pain. The procedure itself takes only a couple minutes. Once I've finished, I sear the wound shut. As I walk to the garage to return the tools, I notice Master sitting in the dining room... is he crying?
He looks up at me, his disgusting face leaking at a horrifying rate, (how do meatbags treat such leakage as normal?) and asks:
"Is.. is sh...*sniff*. She's gonna be ok right?"
"Yes." is all I say, he seems very pleased to hear this. (why? he has no idea if what I told him is accurate or not... I'll never understand organics.)
"It's my fault." He sniffles out. "I shouldn't have made her worry so much."
He's right, it is his fault but Mistress will kill me if I tell him that.
"It's been so long since this happened last." He continues.
"I thought maybe she had been cured."
"She will never be cured." I remind him. "And neither will you, the things the sith did to you can't be undone."
He nods at this and begins to cry again.
"Yeah but, it's just not fair!" He wails. "And why did she have to get the worst of it? Why can't I take it from her?!" He breaks down sobbing at this point. I know better than saying what I'm about to say but, oh what the crell.
"She also gets the best part of it, you know." I tell him. He doesn't seem to have heard me over his weeping. probably a good thing, that. After returning the tools to their rightful places, Tyl asks if he can see Evenlyn yet.
"So long as you don't wake her." I tell him.
I sit down and start cleaning Lizzy and going over the crowd from the race today, strange to see a bothan on Malastare now that I think about it. And hang on... was that a boushh? Oh no. I jump up and run into Mistress's room.
"Grab her, and lets get out of here." I tell Master.
"wh-"
"No time to explain, just do it!" I yell.
I run over and grab the safe, Tyl carries Mistress into the speeder and gets in the drivers seat.
"Where are we going?" He asks.
"The spaceport and as quickly as possible."
