When they arrived at the school store, Deuce knocked on the door before twisting the doorknob slowly and went inside with Y/N and Grim behind him.
"Hello, is there- Whoa..." Deuce began before they looked around in complete astonishment.
Every wall of the room has cupboards and cabinets full of magic stuff and seemingly haunted instruments such as percussion, strings and floats. Mask with eccentric villainy vibes hangs on the walls, green lamps and candles lit up creepily.
The floor below then creaks; they're taking every step forward, walking up the empty counter while looking around, distracted.
"Wow... this place looks amazing. There's a crystal skull, grimoires.... What kind of taxidermy is this?" Deuce commented.
"So... uh... do you guys think they really sell cream here?" Grim asked doubtfully, inching closer to the female.
They all turned around and were startled to see a familiar male who suddenly appeared behind the counter.
"Sam!" Y/N gasped.
"Greetings to you, my favourite imps! It's nice to see you again!" Sam greeted them warmly, "I welcome you to Mr. Sam's Mystery Shop. What among my humble selection may interest you? A charm from a secluded land? The mummified remains of an ancient king? Or perhaps, a cursed tarot card?" He said as he showed them various objects.
"Ffgna!! You scared me!" Grim shrieks, then hide his face in Y/N's chest as the female chuckles and pat his head for comfort.
(Y/N: This is my child now. Deuce: Y/N no- Y/N: Y/N YES.)
Sam laughs as Deuce steps forward and hands the list from Trey to him.
"We'd like the things written here." He said politely.
"And some can of tuna!"
"No, Grim. We're only here to buy the ingrediants Trey-senpai needs."
"But Y/N!-"
Sam looks at the list as he reads it over. "What's this? Cream, eggs, milk... A nice sweet line up! Have no fear my dear imps, I'll get everything for you." The store owner happily exclaims before leaving the counter.
"Guess he really does stock that stuff, huh?" Deuce said as he looked around the store once again.
Y/N nodded in response, "Trey did say the school store has everything. I didn't expect Sam to be the owner of the said store."
