Mika eventually stops walking when we reach the front of his room. "Um... Mika..." I said. He turns his head to look at me. I just stare at his hand, which is still holding mine.
"Your hand... it's still holding mine" I said. He turn to look at his hand that's holding mine. "S-Sorry..." he said, as he lets go. For some reason, I kind want him to still hold it. I have no idea why I feel like that.
He walks towards a bench and take a seat. He turns to look at me and gestures me to do the same. I just do as he told, taking a seat next to him. He glance at me.
"I see you're already wearing the vampire clothes..." he said. I look down at the clothes I'm wearing.

"Ah... yes. They made me wear and didn't even let me keep that outfit. As soon as I got changed, they dispose of it..." I said, sighing softly. He let out a chuckle.
"If it makes you feel better... white suits you better than black. It brings out your beauty more" he said, smiling softly at me. I can feel my cheeks getting a bit warmer at his comment. I look from him as an attempt to hide it.
"So, Y/N... why was Lacus bothering you earlier?" He asked. I turn to look at him with a surprised face. The way he asked that question, he sounded a little... irritated. Or was it just my imagination?
"I don't know... I was just minding my own business and bumped into him. I tried to walk away. But he trapped me there" I said, rolling my eyes as I recall what happened earlier.
"Did he hurt you?" He asked, worriedly. I just smile at him and shakes my head. "No, he was just talking and that's about all" I said. He hums softly at what I said, and nods his head.
"If anyone bothers or hurts you... just let me know, okay?" He said. I smile softly and nods my head. "I'll keep that in mind... thank you, Mika..." I said. He smiles softly at me and ruffles my hair. I swat his hand away from my hair, pouting at him.
"But... what was he talking about?" He asked. I just stayed silent at what he said. He raises an eyebrow as he stares at me. "Well?" He asked again. I turn to look at him and shakes my head.
"Nothing for you to worry about..." I said, smiling at him. He let out a huff at what I said. "Oh I see how it is, you're keeping secrets from me now..." he said. It's not that I don't want to tell him. I don't know how. Lacus claimed that I like Mika. So how am I suppose to talk to Mika about that??
"Do you not trust me?" He asked. I can see that he looks a little hurt. I quickly shake my head. "No! T-That's not... I do trust you, Mika. It's just..." I said, stuttering a little as I struggle to form the correct words.
"Just...?" He questioned. I let out a sigh and looks away from him. This is going to be awkward. But I'd rather it be that... more than Mika thinking I don't trust him.
"Just, he starts talking about how we're getting close. He asked... if I feel something towards you" I said. I just keep my head away, staring at anything but him. I don't wanna see his face after saying such awkward thing.
"Well... do you?" He asked, in a gentle voice. I gulp at his question. I turn my head to look at him to see him already staring at me, quite intently. The way he stares at me makes me feel nervous.
"Um..." I said. He leans closer to me which makes me flinch. His face is now a few millimeters away from mine. "M-Mika..." I stuttered out. He smiles softly at me.
"Do you like me, Y/N?" He asked again. What am I suppose to say?? Lacus just confronted me about it today, and I just realized that I do indeed feel a bit strange around him. But can I even count it as like, or crush? Besides, Mika probably only cares about Yuu and his well being. I'm just a friend to him. I... I don't want to ruin our friendship.
"Y/N?" Mika said, waving a hand in front of my face. I flinch and turn to look at him. He gives me a small smile. "Why're you silent? I'm asking you a question, Y/N. It's rude to not say anything..." he said. I scoff at what he said.
"That's funny... coming from you. You have a record of ignoring everyone..." I said, rolling my eyes. He let out a chuckle. "But you're not 'everyone,' Y/N... you are my best friend" he said, smiling at me. I stare at him for a bit, before looking away again.
I feel a hand on the side of my cheek. Mika gently turn my head to look at him again. "Now, I'll ask this one more time. Do you... like me?" He said. I try to look away, but he cups my other cheeks forcing me to keep looking at him.
"Fine... I do! There, are you happy now?" I said. His eyes widened a little at what I said. I pull my face away from his hands and stands up. "But you only truly care for Yuu, and I don't blame you. After all, he's the only family you have left" I said, with my back facing him. He stays silent, not saying anything.
I let out a sigh and turn to look at him. He have his bangs covering his eyes. I give him a pained smile. "I'm sorry, Mika. You must feel uncomfortable around me now. I must've ruined our friendship. I'll just... go now, okay? I guess, I'll see you around" I said. I slowly turn around and walks away.
I feel a hand grabs mine before I could take even a step further. I let out a gasp as the hand holding my hand gives a hard tug, swiftly turning me around to face him. I gasp in shock when I feel something soft is placed against mine. My eyes widened, my brain is trying to register what's happening. Mika is... kissing me??
He pulls away not long after. He leans his forehead against mine. "It's not just you, Y/N... it's true that Yuu-Chan is someone important to me. But so are you..." he said. My eyes widened at what he just said. He smiles softly at me. He place a soft kiss on my forehead.
A tear escape my right eye at what he said. "I love you, Y/N..." he said. I just smile at him, as he pulls me into a hug. I wrap my arms around his torso, hugging him back happily. "I love you too, Mika" I said. He tighten his arms around me.
"Will you be mine?" He asked, in a soft voice while still hugging me. I smile happily and nod my head. "Of course..." I said. He picks me up and starts to twirl me around. I clutch onto his shoulders, letting out a gleeful laugh. Mika is my boyfriend now!
