"hey babe", ruby said closing her umbrella and entering past me. "what are you doing here? I mean you came early? haha", I said closing the door.

"actually taehyung's parents were about to meet him out of nowhere so i came back", she takes a seat on the sofa and her sight lands onto the laptop, papers and bag.

"Y/n? whose are thes-? oh!! right, you said you're having a friend over. Where is he?", she looks at me.

"Ah yes, you wait here. I'll be back", I make her wait.

"Can you get me a glass of water if you're going to kitchen?", questions ruby. I nod to her and quickly step towards kitchen to get a view of hyunjin cooking all carefree with earpods plugged in.

"hyunjin", I call out but seems like the music was loud. I shake his arm, " hyunjin!!". He takes off one of the earpods. "we're in trouble", I state.

He giggles,"why?..

are you falling for me again?"

"oof it's not the time to flirt. My roomie has come back”

"Oh-”, he removed the other earpod as well and turns  off the stove when food was cooked properly. He looked at me in worried, "what now?"

"She's sitting outside, she wants to meet you. She saw your bag”.

“fine, let's meet her. i just hope doesn't spread the news at university that I was here with you”, he worries. "I think she'll not, she's my best friend", I say it to him. "try talking w her", hyunjin pleased.

we hear her complaining from living room, "hey! I don't want tea, why is it taking so long?"

I get back to her w her order. She was on her feet about to head to the kitchen, I pass on her glass of water. "were you cooking something? it smells good”, she said before drinking.

"Uh yeah, my boyfriend is cooking something", I reply to see her choke on water.

"what??! boyfriend!!?", she sounded too in disbelief and also excited.
"shh calm down"
"but you said he's your friend"
"promise anyone anything about this", I bring forward my pinky finger. "did you guys makeout or something??", she questions.

" PROMISE FIRST" , I force her and she locks her small finger as well while making a best frnd promise. "ok now listen", I begin to explain after a sigh...

"I and Professor Hwang Like each other. And the guy inside is Professor Hwang".

"WHAT??! I mean I don't mind you having a boyfriend. But he is your professor! And where is he? I can't see him", she ends trying to peep in the direction of kitchen.

I pull her back to look at me, "He came here yesterday and we confessed to each other. Now, if u open ur mouth in college I'll break your knees".

" control... I'm not going to tell anyone. Only if you purchase me two movie tickets. One for me and one for Taehyungie", she acts cute by the end.

"okay fine", I reply with a stern face. " cool", she winks at me in acceptance w the deal.

"Jagiya!! you can come now!", I yell towards the kitchen and soon see hyunjun walking towards us with baby steps, hands behind the back and shy smile looking at the ground. I look at bestie and she her forcing a comfortable smile, which I know was not really that comfortable.

Hyunjin extends his hand forward - he was hiding a glass of lemonade. "here, I made this for you", hyunjun hands her the glass. "don't be shy, she won't eat you", I comfort my boyfie by holding his hand.

A/n's POV
Ruby gives an awkward smile at the very tall guy and sips on the drink thinking, "I can't believe, he is here and is my bestie's bf". Y/n and her favorite person sit down on sofa when they heard the other girl in room mumble and halt. "what? you wanna say something?", questions Y/n to her frnd.

"um can we talk for a lil more?", enquired y/n back and pulls her to one corner of the room.
And whispers, "babe, isn't he too old for you?"
"Bruh it's only 5yrs", Y/n replies being chilled.
"A whole 5 years! Me and taehyung only have 2 years difference bro".

"I'm not dating an old man, calm down..As far as we love each other, age doesn't matter".

She pout at Y/n's reply and says, "okayy, if you're happy that's all I want babes"

You smiled onto the thought of having such a caring friend as her, "we're happy together. I understand your concern bae". Ruby hugs her back.

"let's go back", you say. "i-i'ill go and change my clothes they're all wet", Ruby shows the wet corner of her frock. You nod a yes and she leaves to first floor. As you sit beside hyunjin you see his worrisome face turned into a smile when facing you.

"Don't worry, she'll not reveal anybody about this..", you cup his soft cheeks. He guides you to sit on his lap, " I was so worried"
"I understand", your thumb caresses his cheek.

"the food is ready would she like to join us?"

He is caring towards everyone :(( ♡ - thought Y/n silently.

"yeah, I'll be right back", you walk up to my room to see ruby having w splendid time on her phone. "Ruby?"
"hmm?", he lazily hums scrolling down the screen. "you aren't coming for dinner?", you politely enquire standing near the doorframe.

"uh- no, you guys can have it. I'll have later on", she answers.

"He wanted everyone to have dinner together... pls come. You can chat with Tae later", you wait more and she finally agrees.
