"Crap! I'm going to be late!" The mid aged girl proclaimed. "I can't believe I slept through the alarm!" She was new in town, and barely knew anyone, she was 14 years old, blonde with ocean blue eyes and a very soft face. She made her way to the school entry, out of breath and eyes focused on her schedule, she made her way to her first class. She hesitated to open the door, but made her entry. "You're late." Her math teacher exclaimed. "Yes I'm ter-." She was cut off.."Just find a seat, Miss Katie, I presume?" Her new teacher glared at her, and giggles from the other students could be heard. "Y-yes." She managed to get out through sighs of embarrassment. "Seat nine" announced her teacher. She made her way to her desk, and in the seat next to her, sat a young girl about her age, with light brown hair and hazel green eyes. "You really should watch the time." The girl stated. The blonde jumped a bit, startled at the remark. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind." Katie said in a sarcastic tone. (What they didn't know is that soon, they'd be best buds!)
