The story of a young girl

~~Chapter 8~~ Date?

The group of friends is still at the field trip. Katie and the others enter this large building, and as soon as they walk in. They see glass cages full of marine life.

Katie's eyes widen, she looks at all the colorful fish in amazement. Alicia grabs her by the back of her shirt and moves her away from the main crowd.

The rest of their friends follow them, and they walk around the amazing place.

"Soooo, where are we going?" Kameron asks, looking around. "There's no certain place to go here, just go with it." Says Katie, she turned around to meet his eyes, and she smiled.

She then looked over to see, Zach. He was closer to her then she thought, and Kameron eyed him suspiciously.

"What?" He asked, looking at Katie, the blues from the water danced across her face, and he couldn't really look away...(or maybe he just didn't want to)

Alicia grabbed Katie's arm. "Let's go love birds." She said. Katie covered her mouth as she got pulled along, Kameron trying to keep up with them.

Alicia released Katie's arm, and Kameron walked next to her. "So, um..Katie?" He said, looking at the ground. "Yeah?"

She looked at him, and he almost froze. "I was just wondering...uh.." He scratched the back of his head. "Would you like to, go somewhere this weekend? Like go out for coffee, or the movies?"

Katie smiled so wide it looked like she would burst. "Of course I would! I didn't have any plans anyways!" Kameron's smile widened as well, and he let out a sigh of relief.

The group walked on, they spent hours looking at the pretty fish, Katie snuck her phone and took pictures of the fish, and attempted to take selfies, but all her friends photobombed her every time.

She had so much fun while they where there, and they couldn't help but burst out laughing on the way home, when they where looking over the photos.

They all where having a good time, but Zach was not really joining in on the group, he just...stared. No one really noticed because they where to caught up in the laughter.

He leaned against the bus seat, and looked at his phone. He also took some pictures, but..the only person in the pictures was...

No one, just fish. (XD gocha there!)

On the way home, they continued to laugh at funny pictures and moments they shared. Zach was posting the pictures he took on Instagram, he was scrolling through his -people you may know- and found Katie.

He saw some of her posts about playing Minecraft with her friends, and just some at-home selfies. He looked over to her seat, she was laughing and looked like a proper school girl.

"She's nothing like she is at home" he thought to himself . Katie caught his eye and turned in her seat. "What's up Zach?" She asked. "Oh nothing, I was just looking at Instagram.

-buzz- a notification went of on her phone. -🎶Zach_boss👊🏼 has started following you- she grinned at him. "Well, can't say your lying!" She said. He returned the smile.

The bus stopped and Katie, Alicia, and Kameron all got off at the stop. "So what's up with you and that guy?" Kameron asked. "He's not even my friend, really we just met, why?"

"Ugh...no reason! I was just wondering!" He said, combing his hair back. "Jealous." Alicia said, emotionless as always.

"I am not! I was just...wondering." He said, his voice trailed off a bit at the end. Alicia turned down her street, and turned around. She made a heart with her hands.

Katie turned away as Kameron chuckled and went down the street. And Katie made her way home.
