"I..." Katie was still frozen, Kameron still had her by the arm, (not that she could move if she wanted to)
"You what, Katie. Please tell me how you feel, I promise I won't hate you or think your crazy." He said with a faded smile.
"I l-" she was cut of, this time by the bell, it made them both jump. Katie tried to go to class, but Kameron didn't budge.
His face was serious, and Katie had never seen him like this before, it kind of...attracted her...oh snap out of it! Nows not the time..
"Maybe I should tell you how I feel first, would that help?" He loosened his grip. Katie only nodded.
But just as he was about to say something..."what are you both doing out here? Didn't you hear the bell? You'll be late if you stay out here to long." It was their friend Josh, he was an advanced student, with bushy brown hair, (which could really use a good cut) and green-brown eyes.
They both, unwillingly stood up, and the three of them made there way to class. "So how'd you find us?" Katie look at Josh, and he smiled.
"I knew you two would try to skip today, I saw what happened in the hallway earlier."
Katie and Kameron went to their science class, and Josh continued to his class. When they walked in, they noticed the class was seated different, everyone was in pairs, and only two seats remained..
"I thought you two wouldn't show!" Exclaimed their teacher with a smile. "Well, looks like you two are partners!"
They took the two open seats, giving each other awkward glares and not making eye contact.
"Sooooo..." Kameron broke the silence as Katie was reading her science book.
"So? What's up?" Katie was acting like it never happened, which surprised Kameron.
"You don't have to act like nothing happened, that's not how things should be." He took out his book, and secretly started to copy her work..shhh.
"Well, you don't have to copy me." She said without even looking at him, or the books. "How'd you-" he was cut off.
"I know you to well! Your like a. Open book to me, I know your loves, and hates. And I'm kinda proud of it!" She said in a low, but excited voice, with that smile that could make someone faint.
Was she..confessing to me..? The thought flew in Kameron's mind. " like now, your thinking about...something. Honestly I don't want to know what!" Katie said, Kameron jumped in his seat a bit.
He gave out a complicated sigh. "What's that all about?" Katie said, nudging him in the arm.
"Oh nothing." He said, his voice as light as the wind. "I was just thinking about how sweet you are." He said with a smile.
Katie glared at him. "See what I mean! And those deep, blue, beautiful eyes.." He cracked a smile.
"Oh shut it!" She said turning away. "Just because I like you doesn't mean you-" wait. Did she just say that?
Kameron's face shaded red, and so did hers, her, what was a playful smile turned into a oh-crap smug grin.
"I knew it!" Came a voice from behind them. They completely forgot that Alicia was sitting behind them, partnered with, Nazari. Another friend of theirs. (He will be properly introduced later)
They both jumped when they heard her voice. "Did you two forget I was here?" She gave them both a devilish smile. And Nazari giggled.
Kameron scratched the back of his head. "Umm..we kinda did!"
They all chuckled a bit, and the bell rang, they packed up, and headed out, with Alicia still teasing both of them about it.
