(This is a couple of months forward)
Diamond Man's pov. (Once again XP)
I woke up to my alarm clock blaring in my face, I got up and stretched my arms, yawning in the process. I didn't even wanna eat breakfast, we didn't have much anyway, but I didn't mind and I wasn't mad. I threw on a T-shirt with a hoodie over it, and some sweatpants. I didn't think it was the best, but it'll do for today.
I wandered outta my room and saw my mom passed out, a couple of cans of what I assumed to be beer near her, I rolled my eyes and picked up the cans, then throwing them away. My dad walked out of his room, looking more than exhausted, "You ready Diamond Man?" He asked, I nodded, he didn't have work today either, he could finally get some sleep. "You don't have to drive me, the bus comes around here.." I said, he nodded. "Alright, you have a good day, Diamond Man.." He hugged me gently, a small smile on his face. "You too!" I said, before walking out and waiting for the bus.
Eventually the bus stopped near my house and opened the bus door, and I walked in. It was packed and I couldn't see a single seat without a single person. I sighed and noticed a guy beckon for me, signalling for me to sit next to. I speed-walked over there and sat down, setting my backpack down next to me. "Hey man!" This person said to me, I waved. "What's your name?" I asked. "It's Spike! You?" "It's Lame, but my name is Diamond Man." I said, Spike simple shook his head. "I don't think it's lame, I think it's cool!" He smiled. Spike wore these sunglasses, a purple shirt with a skull on it, and yellow pants. "New here, I assume." Spike said, I nodded. "I legit spent my first couple months here, only talking to the highschool Algebra teacher." I spoke up, laughing a bit. Spike snickered, "Dave? He's the best.." Spike said. He wasn't wrong, Dave was the only teacher that never yelled at me for stupid shit or not getting homework done. Only knowing him for a couple months, I actually grew to see him as father figure.
Me and Spike talked for a while, overall he seemed like a nice and chill guy. The bus hauled to a stop and I felt myself launch forward and hitting my head against the seat in front of me. Kids were getting up which ultimately meant I had arrived at school. I sighed and got up too, letting myself follow behind Spike. I have no clue what was going on with me today, but dear God I am not ready today for anything.
