Eyes

The eyes may be the window in your soul

They allow people to read you like an open book

A persons eyes can show their emotion

Eyes can show what they've been though

Bright eyes that sparkle seem to have no bad past

The dull eyes are the sad eyes

They've been through nothing but hardships and sadness

I wonder what people see when they look at my eyes

Do they see the sad girl?

Or do they see the girl she pretends to be?

One that seems to have her life together but really doesn't
