I KNEW
My friends rolled their eyes when I showed them your picture: a dashingly handsome smile on your face and the warmest eyes I have ever seen.
They rolled their eyes, "She's gonna break your heart."
I smiled at that because I already knew.
And even knowing, I welcomed the possibility of heartbreak, especially if it meant I'd get to know you.
