Traytorus scans his surroundings, looking for Viper. His armor is of a Konkrer design like Lady Erika's. While hers was designed with her incredible power in mind, Traytorus' is designed for military application with anchor points to attach carriers for power cells, weapons, and equipment. His helmet is faceless and made up of three sections that meet up in a point. It's probably safe to assume it's made of Beskar or Durasteel plated in Cortosis and laminated in plasteel.
He sheds Big Boss' coat. Big Boss had instructed that he get the coat, but before Master Rael could deliver it, Traytorus had already taken it. His weapons are a large pistol Balus identifies as, "An RK-5 Pistol, made in the labor Valley of Gannaria by the Army of the Sun. It's a real beauty. There aren't many nicer pistols, and its main drawback is high recoil. I doubt that'll matter much to Traytorus, even without that hunk of armor covering him from head to toe. The rifle on his back is a beam rifle, just like yours, and his sword is a swept hilt cutlass. He knows you have a lightsaber, so I would expect nothing less than pure Beskar in that blade."
Viper sets about the task carefully. He fires a shot from the beam rifle into Traytorus' side, which is bounced off by the Cortosis. The force of the shot knocks Traytorus down just like it did Vertex, and Viper scrambles down the side towards the corner, opting to go the long way around to the Shyyyo. This feint doesn't seem to be enough to outsmart the Chiss operating the bomb batteries, as one last cluster bomb lands just in front of Viper. He throws himself forward, curving around to keep the refractor out of the blast and as much durasteel between him and the bomb as possible.
Viper braces for impact, and the explosion knocks him back a few meters. His vitals are protected by durasteel, but a few tiny shards of shrapnel tear into the woven armor, not to mention the sheer force of the blast at such close distance. The insulated armor helps reduce the vibrations, but this is the worst hit Viper's taken all night. He recovers himself. As before, the turbolasers fire at his old position, breaking up the concrete of the platform and the wall behind it until the entire section of the perimeter is a pile of smoking debris.
Luckily, Traytorus walks to the opposite side to check for Viper. He shines a flashlight down into the perimeter trench and confirms that Viper hasn't passed him, then begins walking down towards the corner. If he gets far enough to deny Viper's presence, he'll signal to the Shyyyo and they'll fire bombs along the other side, and Viper will have nowhere to run. It's impossible to tell how far Traytorus will be able to see and positively deny Viper's presence, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
What he won't expect is for Viper to come up that exact same side, so Viper turns around and starts walking counterclockwise back towards Traytorus. He rounds the corner and crawls prone over the rubble left by 2 separate barrages, moving slowly. He stops when Traytorus reaches the corner and shines the light down this corridor, and luckily the suit blends in well enough to sell him as a rock. Trayotorus turns around and starts walking towards the other side, and the Shyyyo launches cluster bombs that way, followed by a barrage of 24 proximity mines, 12 concentrated off its immediate starboard side, and 12 concentrated densely in the corner Viper has lucky already passed. Viper continues counterclockwise hastily, hoping to reach the Shyyyo before Traytorus can realize Viper isn't on the north side.
