Chapter 28

How is everyone doing?

A night has gone by in Liyue and Lumine had the best sleep she has. She woke up to a wonderful smell from the kitchen, it smelled similar to the muffins, it smelled really sweet. She slowly risen from bed, rubbed her eyes and made her way to the kitchen. Y/N and Tohka was currently making breakfast, with Tohka manning a machine that is unknown to her while Y/N is stirring something inside the pot. 

Y/N: " How long more till the waffles are done? " 

Tohka: " Another 2 mins and the 20th waffle would be done. Do you want me to wake Lumine up? "

Y/N: " Don't have to, she's already watching us cook. " 

Lumine: " How did you... " 

Y/N: " I know everything..... like everything... " 

Lumine: " Then do you know where's---- " 

Y/N: " Your brother? Yes, I do know where he is but if I were to tell it to you know, it wouldn't be fun.  "

Lumine: " Fun? It's fun watching me being helpless! " 

Y/N: " I didn't say I wasn't going to save him but currently at your state,  you're too weak to even touch him. Plus good things come to those who wait. " 

Lumine: " ....... "

Y/N: " Now sit yo ass down and let's have breakfast. " 

Y/N and Tohka place the dishes on the table, a mountain of waffles, milk, orange juice, freshly made caramel and berries. The three enjoyed their breakfast and afterwards, they left the house to walk around Liyue. They came across a bunch of people gathered around a place, a white hair woman with a red streak of hair and it seems like she is currently doing some kind of prayers. Out of nowhere, a large dragon fell from the sky and landed in front of the altar. 

???: " Rex Lapis has been killed! Seal the exits! " 

Within seconds, there were guards that ran in and surrounded the place. Y/N had a clear idea of what's going on. 

Paimon: " What's going on?? " 

Y/N: " Their god has been killed. " 

Paimon: " Let's escape before they catch us. " 

Y/N: " Don't worry, even if they capture us, I can just teleport us out of there. Let's enjoy the show for a bit. " 

Tohka: " You sure about this? " 

Y/N: " They can't touch any of us anyway. " 

???: " The ceremony is now stopped, everyone please leave this place while I find out what is going on. " 

The crowd slowly dispersed and the guards surrounding the place was eyeing for anyone suspicious. The four of them casually walked amongst the crowd and one of the guards saw Lumine, thinking that she's part of the killing, he asked the rest of the guards to surround them. 

Guard 1: " Stop moving! " 

Y/N: " Aye calm down, we have not done anything. "

Guard 2:  " We've reasons to believe that you've something to do with the killing of Rex Lapis. Remain here while we get Lady Ningguang here. " 

Y/N: " Okay then. " 

The guards left to bring Ningguang here, Tohka gave Y/N a look of doubt, but he held her hand to reassure her that everything is going to be fine. The guards, came back with the lady in front of the altar just now.
