Chapter 4 - Demon in the name of devil

Brightness is all around Jero, only feeling the white blank floor under them, there is nothing else in this white empty void that they're in. Jero just kept looking down on their own shoes with their depressed face.
Moments later, they then looked up just to see that there are now spheric black globes that are filled with thousands of little flickering lights inside of them.

Jero just kept staring at all of these globes as they felt nothing but despair inside of them.
'Live. Die. And repeat.' Jero thought. 'The thing about depression is it collapses time. Suddenly, you find your whole days blending together to create one endless suffocating loop. So, you find yourself trying to remember things that makes you happy but it only makes your brain erase every memory that ever brought you joy...'

The three kept staring at the two devils who just killed the monster that tried to kill them, being confused and all.
'But sometimes, whenever you wish for another happiness, it's just seemingly out of reach' Jero thought to themselves while staring at the two devils. 'No matter what I do, even if I don't summon them, they'll still change their minds and team up with us' Jero once again thought.

"You two... why are you here? Why are you helping us?" Mike confusedly asked.
"What? You don't want anyone else to help the three of you? We don't even know what happened, heh, we just started thinking about helping the three of you for some reason!" the girl cackles while the boy with sharp teeth just smiled at them.

"Wait, but... you two were just against humans and all but it doesn't make any sense on why the two of you suddenly changed" Mike kept pondering on what happened to the two. Acel is just confused as she watched the three while Jero is just all calm and depressed while looking at their right hand, seeing that it's covered in blood because of the monster that the two killed.

"Um... we neither, we don't know what's the reason why we just changed our minds" the sharped teeth boy answered as both of them landed on the grass field, getting off the disintegrating body of the monster that they killed.
"Jero..." Acel's voice is heard, calling out for Jero as they just looked up at her while Acel looked back at them. "Do you know something about this?" Acel asked, to only make Jero keep staring at her with their eyes full of guilt and despair, not even bothering to answer that question.
'What's wrong with them? Why do they look so down?' Acel pondered before listening to the conversation the Mike and the two little devils are having.

"Right, we're just going to introduce ourselves first!" the black-haired devil said. "My name is Lindy and- "Lindy was interrupted by the sharp teethed guy.
"And, my name is Billy!" by this, Lindy started pouting and glaring at Billy. "We are the devils who doesn't even have any idea on what made out minds flipped or something!"
Lindy hits Billy's head with her fist. "YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO CUT ME OFF LIKE THAT" Lindy yelled at Billy while tears came out of her eyes, pouting. "WELL, YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO HIT ME LIKE THAT!" Billy yelled back before they started arguing and hitting each other while Mike tried to make them stop as Jero and Acel just kept watching.
