Izaya sat all by himself, staring at the ceiling to his room. It wasn’t even that he was really focused on it; he was more looking past it, trying to see the sky behind it. He didn’t have x-ray vision though, so that wouldn’t happen. And it bugged him as everything else seemed to be doing lately. He didn’t want to torture people, he didn’t want to sell people out…He didn’t want to bother Shizu-Chan. Actually that was the last thing he wanted to do, he didn’t even want to lay eyes on the man. His hatred had gotten worse than ever…Or so, he felt it was hatred.

He sat up in his bed, groaning slightly as he did. Izaya had been laying there for quite some time and his muscles had grown stiff, he wanted to go out somewhere, but at the same time he didn’t for fear of meeting up with him.

Izaya walked out into his living room, glancing around, “Namie-san?” He called; he didn’t see the female anywhere. He sighed, even if she wasn’t a friend Izaya did sort of enjoy having her around more or less to tease her about her creepy relationship with her brother. “You here?” Izaya wasn’t sure what made him call out again, if the woman was here she would have answered.

He sighed, something he noticed he’d been doing a lot lately; it too was growing on his nerves. What to do, what to do…The chat room? No. Play with his whacked up chess board? No, not that either. He gazed out the large window behind his desk, glaring down at the city below. He wanted to do terrible things to Shizuo that was what he wanted…

Izaya pulled his coat on and hopped outside, humming quietly to himself as he skipped down the sidewalk. A smirk grew upon him as he thought of how to rile Shizuo up; well just being in the man’s presence would do that. How he loved to see Shizuo so angry. Actually, he liked the man’s face when it was twisted to show any type of frustration or pain, but it was hard to hurt the strongest man in Ikebukuro.

“Izaya.” Now his smirk grew even larger, it was weird to think that the blonde had even managed to sneak up on Izaya, but he gave him props for that. He didn’t glance over his shoulder; he could picture the man’s expression right now. He could feel how excited he was getting for this.

“Shizu-chan.” Izaya felt the knife in his pocket, but Shizuo again wasn’t making indication that he was going to knock Izaya with a stop sign. Why all this sudden hesitation? It let Izaya think for a moment, a moment he hadn’t planned. He gritted his teeth, the moment that wasn’t occupied the thought slipped into his mind, that maybe those feelings he was trying to bury would be returned.

“Izaya I think that we should t-“ The man didn’t let him finish in a desperate attempt Izaya drew his blade and pointed it to Shizuo, it cut him off atleast. He didn’t want to hear that from Shizuo, nothing along those lines. Nothing like the pathetic thoughts he had when he was left alone. He didn’t want to talk about anything.

“No.” Izaya felt his voice shake, but…It was possible Shizuo had something else to say! His thoughts were chiming in randomly, but he wouldn’t take the risk, he just couldn’t.

“I just want to clear something up.” Shizuo snarled he was glowering at Izaya from behind those dark sunglasses.

“And what would that be?”

“A rumor.” Izaya felt his mouth twitch; he would know best about stuff like that. Well…If it was just that. He lowered his knife, watching Shizuo closely before turning his back upon him,

“Where do you want to talk?”

“Your place.”

Izaya felt his eyebrows furrow, why where he lived? Shizuo’s place wasn’t all that far away, neither was the Russian Sushi shop. That and they were standing here, couldn’t they speak here? But, Izaya wasn’t going to be rude, “Oh? Alright.”
