I clicked my tongue producing the minimal voice before I stooped down near the windows to close them shut.

In between I gazed down at her visage which was gleaming in the moonlight. I didn't know what was so attractive about it but I couldn't twitch my orbs from her even for a jiffy or for that exact moment.

Her salmon petals were apart while the tip of her nose had a glint. The emphasis was the mole beside her nose as I trailed my eyes upwards to discern her closed eyes, her face seemed serene. I blinked before licking my lips wet and shutting the window close.

Shutting the window while they striked together produced noise as I looked down to acknowledge if she was awake by the voice but I discerned her eyebrows furrowed all of the sudden and then relaxed while she was clutching onto her hoodie a way more tightly.

I retreated my hands from the handle of the windows when she tossed and turned her physique to face the bed pulling her knees near her chest. I let out a deep sigh, Okay, just one last thing.

I turned towards the bed before bending and pulling the duvet with me as I covered her physique while the goosebumps were visible over her arms and exposed neck. The sense of the sudden cold sensation touching my warm palm made me look down as I discerned her hands holding onto mine, she was shivering lightly, But why?

Squinting my eyes, I moved back to look at her wrist as I scrutinized the pale blue markings of the hands of someone. What's this? I crouched down beside the couch before examining her wrist.

The marks didn't seem to be fresh but not so old. Did someone abuse her? She won't do that herself. I gulped down before looking ahead at her visage and then at her hand which was holding mine.

I pulled my hand off her clutch which loosened by the passing seconds before I stood up. I gazed at her physique for a second and made my way out of the room.

She doesn't look like a girl with a happy background but she had everything and money too. I also have every single thing but still I am not happy. That's why I am just breaking inside and can't even... even tell anyone that I... I am broken and it is getting suffocated... It's getting hard to breathe, it's killing me inside..... that I couldn't save them.

"F*ck!" I said with my raised voice holding onto my left leg, it got bumped with the side table placed beside the couch in the lounge. I bit down my lips clamping it with the teeth tightly, careful not to make it bleed.

Supporting my back to the backrest of the couch, I closed my eyes which were glistened. I need you, Ari!! I can't hold this anymore.

I opened them after about half a minute and sauntered inside my solace room. Twisting the knob of the door, I pushed the door open, the murky room was getting the moonlight penetrated through the window, spreading its gleam to all the canvases placed filled with the colours of the most beautiful soul on the earth.

I stepped inside in contrast, stretching my hand to switch on the lights which luminance amber rays, the gradients of the colors painted on the canvases were making them lavish and making them gravitational.

Your portraits still make my heart melt, love. It feels like you were only here yesterday but you are gone so far that now you can't come back to me.

I gulped down before looking down at the paint tubes settled over the stool beside an easel. I walked to the empty canvas, holding onto the paint brushes I squeezed out the paints on the color mixing palette, I dipped the brush before propping my hand in front of the white canvas.

It's been days, I haven't painted in a while as I skimmed the tip of the brush on the canvas, my inners trying to depict Ari's portrait.

Her sapphire tinctured orbs with her cocoa eyebrows, the pale skin which I would always crave to touch mine. Her weeny nose which would always gleam from its tip. My brush was skimming over the surface of the canvas as if they knew their destination and where they had to halt.
