Ashen

*A couple days later*

Still Lokis pov

I walked out of my room, seeing no one in the kitchen.

That's odd.. there's usually someone out here.

I saw a beautiful brown and black cat follow me out of my room. (Imagine it looks like a Pallas cat.)

"I see you figured out how to shapeshift." I smiled and the cat meowed at me.

She jumped up on the counter, swinging her tail.

She sat down, her tail wrapping around her legs.

I pet her and she meowed.

I heard someone walk out, so I looked at who it was.

"Aww a kitty." Y/n said, and walked up to it, petting its back.

Wait what?

I looked back at the cat and it was still there.

"Who's cat is this?" She asked.

"I don't know."

"What a sweet baby." She said, using a baby voice.

She kissed the cats head.

"I love cats." She said, petting its head, and scratching its chin.

The cat started purring loudly.

"What a beautiful baby." She said, using her baby voice again.

The cat laid down, and showed its stomach, allowing her to pet it.

"What a lovely little thing you are." She said.

Bucky walked out, smiling at y/n.

"I see you've met Ashen." He said as the cat meowed at him.

"Is this your cat, Bucky?" She asked, getting excited.

He nodded "She is mine, yes."

"She's a girl? That's awesome, you're so beautiful."

"I also see that you like cats." He said and the cat flipped back onto her feet and jumped into Bucky's arms.

"Hello." He said to his cat.

The cat climbed up his arm, and then found her place on his shoulder.

"She's a shoulder cat?" She asked.

"That's amazing, I love her."

Bucky smiled and looked at the cat.

"Yeah, she's a sweet girl, she wouldn't hurt anyone on purpose."

"She's amazing."

Bucky smiled.

"I hope you don't take this the wrong way but, why do you have a cat?"

"Therapy animal." Bucky said, and he almost seemed ashamed of it.

"Aww, that's sweet."

He gave her a surprised look.

"It's sweet that you chose a beautiful cat for a great job."

Bucky smiled wholeheartedly.

"Thank you."

Ashen purred next to his ear.

"What a beautiful cat, I love her already." Y/n said, petting her head.

Y/n used magic to summon a treat to her hand.

She gave it to Ashen and she ate it.

Ashen started to lick her paws, cleaning them.

"She's so cute."

"I want a cat now."

"Well, I know where to get another one if you want." He pet Ashens' head as she purred.

She smiled and looked into Buckys' eyes with a look she's never given me before.

"Actually, yeah, I love cats, so if you don't mind..."

"Do you like fluffy cats or short-haired cats?"

"I like them fluffy, get me a black cat, if your source has any, of course."

Bucky chuckled deeply "She had plenty, I'll call and ask."

Y/n smiled "Thanks."

Bucky returned to his room with his cat on his shoulders.

I looked at y/n and asked "Why did you look at him like that?"

She looked at me, a completely oblivious look on her face "Like what?"

"Never mind." I said, feeling like an idiot.

"Okay." She said, going to her room.

I followed her and she sat down onto the bed, grabbing her favorite book from her nightstand to read.

"What are you reading?" I asked.

She got cozy, pulling her favorite blanket over herself.

"Charlotte's Web." She said, smiling as she opened the book. (Deadass my fav childhood book.)
