He was a very cute baby, no one could dispute that, but he was a mischief maker. He would crawl or wobble over to his 'Uncle Serious' when he wanted to ride on his flying toy broom. After getting put in a sitting position, he would direct the toy to zoom all around the house. Everyone knew to watch out because he wasn't amazing at remembering not to crash. Harry was loved by all who met him. The long dinners with Uncles Moony and Wormtail were always a blast. One night James came home late, he was worried and started talking in a low voice to Lily as they sat down for dinner. "We have to change it, I just heard that they know." Lily understood his weird message. Someone leaked to He Who Must Not Be Named the contents of the prophecy Dumbledore was talking about. James and Lily will now have to change the secret keeper, Serious couldn't be used if He Who Must Not Be Named knew that they were going into hiding, it would be too dangerous. Peter had come over to tell us all about the Dark Lord's connections, apparently he had already figured out James' relationship with Serious and because Sirius is harry's godfather it wouldn't be safe for him to be the Secret Keeper, He Who Must Not Be Named could capture and torture Serious, it could be horrible.
Two weeks later disaster struck. Lily knew something was going to happen, she could feel it when she was sitting at the dinner table, she could feel it when she put Harry down for a nap and she could feel it when she was sitting on the sofa with James. It was the sense of looming gloom. Lily was just about to tell James about this feeling when they heard someone outside the door. Lily lept up and started up the stairs, she had to get to Harry. As she was running she heard the door break in. James was yelling at her to run, he was fighting the terror she knew was coming. Voldemort was here. Lily felt it when James died, she knew that a part of her had been torn away, that was when she started to cry. Voldemort started towards Harry's bedroom and she knew what she must do. She would protect her son. "Get away from there you stupid girl!" She didn't listen. The room filled with that fatal green light and she dropped. Voldemort looked on, he saw the little child and thought of the love this kid's parents had for him. Voldemort was jealous, how could this little thing be the one foretold to destroy him?!? He who had gone farther than all others, down the path of immortality, he who was Lord Voldemort. No, this little thing could not be more powerful than him, this tiny person, barely a year old, could not have more of life than Voldemort! He had to die. The room was filled with another bright light and explosions could be heard. The spell backfired and the once great; great but terrible wizard had gone.
